Where does the time go??
Things are fantastic and I am 100% back to normal...meaning, I am no longer numb in any area and have no issues whatsoever with any aspect of my tt surgery. My scar is completely faded and is perfectly thin. The placement is also perfect for any and all outfits that I wear.
My only complaint right now is that due to my autoimmune disease being a jerk, I am thinner than I would like, therefore, by belly button is not an “innie”. When I manage to put a bit of weight on, it will be exactly what I hoped for. I’m so glad that I went through with the bb revision!

BB revision complete!
I had excess skin around my belly button, causing it to "float" and so basically the original anchor wasn't working. My PS revised it by cutting off the excess skin and then he made it smaller and anchored it deeper. This was all done under local anesthetic in the OR. It was a bit unnerving, initially, but I trust him 100% so I was confident it would all be ok. Once the freezing wore off, it was very tender. Stinging and burning. He advised ice and it worked like a charm! It has been 24 hours, and he just called to see how I was doing. It isn't weeping at all so he cleared me for a shower. Poly sporin and bandages. I see him in 2 weeks. Praying this time things heal properly. I really really like my smaller innie!
