Hey! I’m 140ish pounds and an A32. I’m 10 days away from surgery day and I couldn’t be more excited. It’s been a fast process for me, surgery is 3 weeks after my consult!!! I’ve wanted this for years and finally I just pulled the trigger. I have lots of support so it’s been a fun journey. I’m a 32 year old mom of a 3 year old and Breast pumped exclusively for a year. I was skinner before so my body carried the littles better but now I’m a few pounds bigger and maintaining this weight so it’s time to juice up these puppies! My surgeon has been amazing. Confident that he’ll be able to give me exactly what I want. Trying on all the sizes was a lot of fun in the consult. I ended up going bigger than I expected- I’d hate to go too small and be bummed! Updated on 19 Nov 2019: Here’s a couple photos of my boobs after I had my kiddo to show how much they stretched out during pregnancy and feeding. Before I was a 32A and during this time, I grew up to a 34D. I couldn’t believe I shrunk back to pre baby boobs afte that Updated on 28 Nov 2019: Today was crazy surreal. I can’t believe it’s happened. My entire team was amazing, everyone was in a great mood and happy to be part of my journey. Doctor Lockwood days I had a textbook surgery. I feel extremely tight and lots of pressure. SOOOOO HAPPY ALREADY!!! Just a recap, I had bilateral 500cc’s, high profile smooth held inserted under the breast fold on top of the muscle Updated on 29 Nov 2019: I am so happy!!! Dr. Lockwood is a true artist & The first glance clinic is incredible. I had a hard time sleeping last night. Up about every 30-60 minutes. The pressure and tightness is slight worse today but all of my grogginess is gone and I feel like my new self already!!!! Updated on 9 Dec 2019: I am so happy !!! This was for real the best decision I’ve ever made lol I’m 11 days in and I have been back to myself for several days now. I stopped pain meds on day 3 post op and all I’ve needed was an Advil every couple days to curb the swelling. They re cry slightly starting to “drop” as I can feel the pressure releasing. They still sit high up and are not even as the swelling is dissipating on each side differently but they look so beautiful! I also had some liposuction under arms to rid the bra bulge and I can’t believe how happy I am already! Updated on 11 Dec 2019: Tomorrow is 2 weeks post op and I feel like myself. My incisions don’t hurt at all, they are healing so beautifully, very minor swelling left on the bottom side of these bad boys and they feel like they belong there. I can’t believe it’s only been 2 weeks and I’m so comfortable in my new skin! Updated on 18 Dec 2019: Feeling great. Dr. Lockwood said everything is looking perfect and I’m able to listen to my body and do what feels best for me. My nipples re till sensitive s my nerves re reawakening but they feel so good !!!!
I’m turning 50 this year and going through many changes in my life. I never really loved my breasts, when I was young, they were very small and then after children I ent from an A cup to a D cup while breast feeding my children. My areoles stretched and then the whole breast deflated to a full B /small C cupUpdated on 17 Jun 2019: Bottom pic is before Middle pic is swollen day 3 post op Top picture is 10 days post op and things beginning to settleUpdated on 17 Jun 2019: Updated on 18 Jun 2019: Updated on 3 Jul 2019: Although I was oozing a little bit for the first 2 weeks on my right breast and had to take 4 days of antibiotics- just in case- the oozing stopped on my 16th day post op. I am now at a month and feeling pretty good. Still taking it easy as I want excellent results. I began as a B36 or C34 and now I am in either a D38 or DD36 . So I am up by two cup sizes and my breasts are much more full. Updated on 9 Aug 2019: They are finally feeling like “me”- began working out at 8 weeks although I haven’t done a lot of bouncing yet. This is what hey look like in a push up Bra!!! Updated on 10 Nov 2019: Going to get areola reduction next week. Yahoo! Then I will be done. 5 days until the surgery
I have hated my larger labia for as long as I can remember! It’s not only something I don’t like visually, but physically it’s uncomfortable too. I always knew I wanted to get a labiaplasty but I’ve held myself back. Until recently, I have booked the procedure. It’s scheduled for May 24th, 2019. I’m SO excited to get it done and document my experience for everyone :) Updated on 24 May 2019: Updated on 24 May 2019: On the morning of my surgery I woke up and took a warm shower, had a light breakfast and a glass of water. When I entered the clinic I got sat in a comfortable room, and changed into my medical vest. The nurse had came by with oral sedation pills for me to take. I then sat for about an hour to let the pills kick in. I felt a little loopy, but mainly tired and very drowsy. Once I was ready to head into the operating room. I had Dr. Lockwood and 2 nurses help me through the entire thing. The freezing needles felt like a quick pinch, but nothing more. I was pleasantly surprised how fast and painless the needles were. After I was numb down there, I had a warm blanket placed over my chest and arms while I lay back with my legs raised. Dr. Lockwood began the procedure and I didn’t feel anything. NOTHING. It was crazy because I was awake but not feeling any pain. Once he has started, it was only a few mins later when I drifted off into a light sleep. Before you know it, it was over. I would rate my surgery day experience a 10/10. As of right now I’m at home icing my labia as much as possible! (See post OP labia picture posted above) Updated on 24 May 2019: I’m a 21 year old female. I have HATED my large labia for years! It makes me feel very insecure during sex, and constantly pokes through my panties to top things off. I need this thing gone!!! I recently found out about the procedure, and I decided to go in for a consultation. The consultation went amazing. The staff made me feel very comfortable. The surgeon was very friendly as well. I was quoted $3575 CAD for the total cost of surgery. Including the consultation fee and take home prescription meds, it came to about $3800 CAD all in. I decided I want to go through with the surgery and booked it for 3 weeks ahead - May 24, 2019. Updated on 25 May 2019: Today is the first official full day after surgery! I slept through the night with zero problems. I have been icing constantly, and haven’t left bed unless I had to pee. I have been taking my pain meds every 4-6 hours as needed. The Tramadol (pain meds) are causing me a lot of nausea and constipation. I decided to mix the pills with some gravol and stool softener to ease the side effects a little. Let’s hope that helps. Overall my pain is very manageable. Maybe a 3/10. However, things are defiantly a lot more swollen and tender down there then they were yesterday. Again, the icing is helping a lot. My main problem is peeing! OUCH!!! Every time I use the washroom to pee, it burns like hell! I’ve never felt a sensation like this before. Truly excruciating. The upside to this is that once I’m done peeing - I quickly pat myself dry and apply polysporin to my stitches. As soon as I apply some polysporin, the burning sensation goes away quickly. Which is nice because I’m only in pain for about a minute or so. Overall today has been a good 1st official day - post surgery. I will keep everyone updated as the days pass. Updated on 27 May 2019: Today has been great! The burning sensation while peeing has subsided. I haven’t taken any pain meds all day, as I haven’t had any pain. Which is awesome because they were making me very nauseous. I have noticed some bruising and swelling has been increasing as the days go by. Which is normal. I’m still icing lots, and resting in bed as much as possible. I’m so thankful I’m not going through any pain. I’ve read horror stories about how other woman were in severe pain for the first week. So far so good for me. Keep you updated if anything changes. Updated on 29 May 2019: Nothing major has changed from my day 4 post. Some bruising has decreased I noticed, which is nice. Although, I’m already starting to get a little itchy down there! Which is really uncomfortable because I can’t obviously scratch it. I wasn’t anticipating getting itchy this early on. Oh well! I’ve taken some allergy meds to help with the itching a little. I have my final appointment on June 14th (3 week mark - post surgery) to get my stitches removed. My doctor said this will help ease the itchiness. June 14th can’t come soon enough as of now!!! Updated on 31 May 2019: Today is day 8 post op! I can’t sit straight up in a chair just yet without being uncomfortable. Although moving around and walking as been back to normal. Yay! I have one thing I’m worried about though. I feel like my labia is still kinda large... don’t get me wrong I love that the main flaps are cut off! However, I wish things were a little less noticeable down there. Maybe I’m still swollen? Not sure. Fingers crossed my labia decreases in size even more. **I’ve inserted a standing angle side by side of my labia pre and post op. Which is looking great... but my up close and personal shot still has a lot of labia present as you can see. Updated on 31 May 2019: Updated on 2 Jun 2019: Today sucked!!! I popped a stitch. It wasn’t one of the stitches from my labia itself. It was a stitch between my labia and lips. **See the picture I’ve inserted for reference. I have never ever seen so much blood come out of my body at once. It was non stop gushing for about 15 mins. I soaked through a pair of panties and about a full roll of toilet paper. Thankfully I wasn’t in any pain afterwards and the bleeding has settled now. My surgeons office is closed today. So I didn’t get a chance to call and ask what to do. I really hope I don’t need to go back to the office because it is 5+ hours away. I can’t really afford the trip over or take more time off work. As of now, I’m back at square one. Icing, not walking much, and keeping my butt elevated. This honestly sucks so much. I was feeling really good and back to my everyday life about 2 days ago. Plus I start work again tomorrow. Ugh. Worst timing for this to happen! Trying to stay positive though. Keep you updated on how the call goes tomorrow morning! Fingers crossed nothing serious. Updated on 3 Jun 2019: Updated on 14 Jun 2019: Today was my 3 week post op appointment. I went to get my dissolvable stitches removed. OMG let me tell you was it ever painful! Getting the stitches removed was hands down the most painful part of this entire process. The removal process was only 5 minutes, but it was very painful. Felt as if I was getting pinched every time he pulled one out. 10/10 on the pain scale. Yikes!!! Overall I’m glad I got them removed at the end of the day. I heard itching can get pretty intense at this stage in the healing process if you don’t remove them. I’m also no longer putting on polysporin at all. I’m just keeping the area extra clean with vagisil every time I shower. I’m back to using normal toilet paper to wipe after peeing too. Overall I feel amazing! I’ll post my final before and after pictures closer to the 6 week mark - as nothing has changed drastically from my last update. Updated on 16 Jun 2019: I wrote a much more descriptive review on my page from my experience with Dr. Lockwood and the staff at First Glance Clinic (for a labiaplasty procedure). They are friendly, clean, and professionals. If I ever wanted to get anything else done I would go back. I had a 10/10 experience from start to finish. Thank you for changing my life!!! :) Updated on 8 Jul 2019: My final update. Fully healed and loving my vagina!
This man is a miracle worker! This is my second surgery with Dr. Lockwood, I would not go to anyone else! I’m 2 week PO from a tummy tuck with Lipo and I feel and look amazing already! Previously had breast implants, both procedures went great! I can tell that he takes his job seriously and tries his hardest to make sure you get the best results possible!! Thank you Dr Lockwood!!
Just had my first procedure today with Dr. Lockwood and let me tell you there is no one better!! The staff were absolutely incredible! I have been to other clinics but nothing beats the kind and caring staff at The First Glance! I truly feel appreciated and welcome every time I walk in. I know I'm NOT just number! Saving for my next procedure now! I'm a lifer! Thank you Summer, Karen, Meghan and Dr.Lockwood!!
Hi everyone! So, I am just over 4 weeks post op now! Recovery has been going really well. I'm feeling almost back to normal. Still have just a bit of itching/soreness from the stitches. Sitting is a bit uncomfortable at times, depending on the chair. I had been having a lot of problems with my bladder. Difficulty peeing, it would take awhile for the pee to come out, and then it would start and stop constantly. I felt like I had trouble completely emptying my bladder often. That was pretty much resolved by three weeks post op. It's almost completely back to normal now. I will try to take time to write more posts later, about the surgery itself and more about recovery. :) Updated on 26 Jul 2017: So, I am now 7 weeks post op. Had my last check up this past Monday and everything was good! Still haven't had sex. I'm scared to, lol. But I will very soon. I'm having another surgery next week (Breast augmentation and lower body lift) so we won't be able to have sex for awhile after that. Updated on 31 Jul 2017: So, I finally got to have sex the other night. It was quite painful and we couldn't have full penetration. Was still a bit sore the next day. Next time, we'll try using more lube :) Also! Before the surgery, I would often notice while swimming/running in water, that I could feel pee coming out of me :( Yesterday, I was running in the pool, and NO pee was leaking out. So, I was pretty excited about that!! I told my husband, and he just gave me a blank look, and said "Yeah..?" so I figured I would share here, with people who may understand the awesome-ness of this, lol! Updated on 13 Sep 2017: So, we had sex again last night for the first time in a long time (I had a second surgery, lower body lift/BA) and it went much better. It was still pretty painful but my husband was able to "go in" much further this time.
Done Jan 5 2017. Always wanted to have a tummy tuck done since my last baby. Finally after 14 years I did it. The pain was bad for me, but I'm a suck to pain. Not sure if I regret it or not, maybe it's to early to know. I posted some pics before and after surgery. I weight the same now as I did before surgery, I eat clean, but not working out. Updated on 10 May 2017: Ok I am 120 lbs, 5'5 and happily married with 2 teenagers. I thought now it was my turn to do something for myself. I went in to talk to Dr Lockwood in September. Did all my blood work and was scheduled in for November 23 2016 to get mommy makeover. On that day I woke up from surgery to find out only my breasts got done, he had to stop there, cause I was bleeding out. My tummy got done(after more blood work) on Jan 5 2917. Honestly for me, getting my breasts done was worse than tummy, pain wise. I have always been 34b and now 32 dd, super happy with them. My tummy I am also happy with, full muscle repair and also had a vertical incision done under belly button. Updated on 20 Jul 2017: In the first few months you never know what to expect. But I now couldn't be happier
I was very nervous just to go for the consultation but right from the start Dr.Lockwood and his assistant made me feel comfortable. Dr.Lockwood was very professional and thoroughly explained the process. His assistant was knowledgeable when it came to sizing and helped me through it. Surgery day was nerve racking but right from the start I had a nurse, Dr.Lockwood, the anesthesiologist and an assistant come in to guide me through the different stages. Dr.Lockwood held my hand while they put me under and the next thing I knew I was waking up in recovery with nurse Lisa who was so kind and helped me dress when I was ready. It's now a week after the surgery and I feel very tight but they look so good, not too big and I'm definitely not too small anymore. I'm very pleased and excited for the healing to continue so I can see the final result.
I have wanted to have a breast augmentation for a very long time. I have always had small breast. I have breastfed 3 babies and that certainly didnt help improve that situation. In September 2016 I finally made and appointment for a consultation. I asked around with people who I knew had gotten Plastic surgery before and they all recommended the same doctor. So of course I went to that doctor. Im so glad I did!! Dr. Lockwood was fabulous right from the beginning. My whole experience was wonderful and I would recommend him to anyone. Updated on 12 Feb 2017: Has anyone else had problems with bottomed out implants and how did it turn out? I fear i have bottomed out and i am so disappointed!! Im only six and a half weeks post op. Updated on 2 May 2017: I am now just over 4 months post op. I am still loving my results! I do wish I went a bit bigger and probably will in a couple years. I feel like they have gone down in size in the last little while. They are squishy and soft. I still get twinges of pain but nothing like in the beginning. I am so happy with my PS and am glad I went with him! Looking forward to filing out a bathing suit top this summer!! :)
Excellent doctor and surgical teat. I had my breast augmentation done today. Everything from the initial consultation to the post op care was amazing. Excellent bedside manner from the anesthesiologist who came and answered all of my questions. Dr Lockwood held my hand until I feel asleep. Nurses very careful not to uncover me until I had fallen asleep which was very considerate and lessened my embarrassment. Post op care was very good. Paperwork given prior to surgery was very informative and I referred to it a lot. I would have liked brands with product numbers for bras deemed suitable post op as I find purchasing one to be rather stressful since I'm not sure of which sports bra would provide enough support without irritating the incision. Some specific examples could be provided in the preoperative info package.
There are many many happy Botox patients who have had their Forehead Lines softened. Having said that, over and above the initial pinpricks of the injections, you can have a sensation of heaviness lasting about 4wks especially if aggressive doses have been used and although Botox often helps headaches, it can trigger a "Botox Headache" lasting several hours. Make sure you see an experienced Injector and start with smaller doses. Best of Luck!
I am sorry about your results and understand your concerns. There is a muscle that lies in the path of your Botox treatment areas close to the masseter clenching muscles called the Risorius that attaches to the corners of your mouth. It was affected by the Botox at the same time as your Masseter. This weakness likely will be worse 2wks after the injections and last 4-6wks. Fortunately it is temporary. I hope this helps.
Thank you for your email. For being 6 days out you seem to be healing fine. It looks as though you are doing a good job of keeping the area clean and it does not look red or "angry" as it would if there were an infection. If you are having major concerns I recommend you consult your general practitioner or the surgeons office who performed the procedure. Kindest Regards,Dr. Anthony P. LockwoodWinnipeg, MB
Dear Misterman, it is hard to evaluate your photo accurately but there appears to be a puffy area closer to your nose as well as dynamic smile lines and possibly residual tear trough hollowing. Depending on what was injected, swelling or lumpiness may occur later (due to granuloma formation) or persist. Even Hyaluronic Acid gel fillers like Restylane and Juvederm can last 5 yrs or more in this area particularly if the draining lymphatic vessels have been compromised. In addition these changes may be a reflection of bony changes around the eye sockets and cheeks that are a natural part of aging. At any rate, flooding the area with a dissolving enzyme like Hyaluronidase may clear the area prior to assessing your natural lower lid fat pads, lower eyelid tone and possible skin excess.Future micro fat grafting, Botox/Dysport, Lower lid blepharoplasty with fat transposition would be considerations. Best of Luck to you.
Hi Roze,Not sure what these images represent to you, but to me it seems a prominent horizontal frown line has been obliterated and perhaps the root of the nose has been built up. This would be relatively easy to do with botox, dysport, or xeomin muscle relaxers ( the line is caused by an overactive procerus muscle); in addition fillers such as Hyaluronic acid (Perlane-L) or Radiesse can be used to build up the nasal bridge or root of the nose and occasionally fill in the frown line.
