27 Years Old Inner Labia Reduction - Winnipeg, MB

I wanted this procedure ever since I was a kid and realized that basically anyone I encountered had an innie and I had an outie. It made me feel like a monster. It didn't help that any women you see in porn have non-existent labia. One time I was at the gynecologist and he turned to his assistant and said "big labia." None of my boyfriends have ever said anything to me. I just wanted to feel normal so I booked in with Dr. Lockwood at the First Glance Aesthetic clinic. Really nice guy and made me feel comfortable. He had before and after photos on their website, which was a big thing for me because many in the area didn't seem to.

I got my procedure on the 11th. It only took like 45 minutes and all the staff were really nice. The pain after wasn't too bad. You're really swollen after. Peeing while pouring water over the area and using a bag of frozen peas on the area seems to help a lot. I don't have a high pain tolerance and the pain is bearable. I will be posting photos as I recover so you can see my recovery journey :)

One week from surgery

So swollen still and stitches are getting a little bit itchy.

Weird stitch

Sad moment in recovery

Last night I kind of had a mini meltdown :( I couldn't sleep at all, was so itchy and uncomfortable and in pain. I really hope it gets better. The surgery wasn't bad at all but the recovery is pretty awful. I don't understand how some people are normal after a week. I am still very very swollen and still walking around like a penguin. Shaving is so difficult, but if you don't shave, you get itchy :( it also sucks that my surgeon is in another province because they don't perform labiaplasty in the province that I live in. Than God I have the option to work at home.

almost 2 months post op

Maybe I'm still a little bit swollen, but I thought that things would be a little bit smaller by now.

before and after

Three months post op I thought I would be a little bit smaller by now. Maybe I am still a little bit swollen.
