I've never had perky breasts. Those of us ladies in our family that were born with this genetic gem fondly call them "bullet boobs." In addition to hitting the breast jackpot, I've also been blessed with hereditary saddle bags. Since puberty, I've had those lovely pockets of fat misshaping my hips. Underwire support bras and a-line skirts have been this girl's best friends, but no longer. A 70 lb weight loss and the need to finally do something for me have pushed me to seek medical intervention. So here I am! Scared to death, but excited that I'm doing what I've dreamed of for so many years. A week from today, I'll be in the capable hands of Dr. Kays. He will be performing a bilateral mastopexy using the lollipop/anchor method, and suction/ultrasound liposuction of the hips, thighs and flanks. And since he'll be sucking the fat out of my backside, we decided to inject that good stuff in my face (nasal labial folds/frown lines). My friends can now call me ass face and really mean it. LOL
Dr. Kays feels I'll likely be around a C cup once healed. Since I've been a DD most of my life, we've discussed the potential of augmentation once I've healed from the lift, but have decided to take a conservative approach to see if I like my new, natural breasts first. No sense adding implants if they aren't really needed.
So here we go... I'll post my progress as we go. This time next week I'll be on the road to recovery.

Less than 24 hours until my surgery and I'm nervous. Not so much about the surgery itself, but about the IV. I know I'm crazy, but I hate needles. Anyhoo, I'm posting some more pre-op pics related to my lipo and facial fat grafting. Dang those backside pics are embarrassing. Hopefully it will be "goodbye saddle bags" after tomorrow. Will post more post surgery... tata (get it?) for now.

Best of luck for tomorrow! I am due to have a bilateral mastopexy with fat graft transfer to my breasts (from almost identical saddle bags) on 6th November. I am freaking out! Very scared and nervous but excited too. I've had 7 pregnancies. 6 healthy kids and a little boy I lost at 6 months pg and my body is in dire need of a makeover. I have also lost a lot of weight and getting rid of the saddle bags is almost more exciting to me. I've looked at so many pics on here and some show quite a dramatic change but most show more subtle contour changes so I want to be realistic. The scars for the mastopexy are the most worrying part for me....just want them to heal ok, with no infection and as well as possible.
Anyway..will think of you tomorrow! all the best xxxxx

Day 1 post op

So far, I'm feeling pretty good. Definitely loopy and a little sore, but nothing that my pain meds can't handle. I did have quite a bit of nausea yesterday, but was expecting it since my anesthesiologist told me to be prepared Due to my motion sickness issues. She pumped me full of anti nausea drugs and gave me a patch. I did have to bust out suppositories last night... No biggie. I haven't looked at myself yet, so no post op pics, but I did have my mom take pics at the dr office before I went under. Will load pre and post op pics once I get up the courage to look. I'm so relieved it is over. BTW, the IV was not bad. I had a really good sticker.

Ah glad all went well and that you're not feeling too bad. Do you have to wear special supportive garments for both the limo and the mastopexy? Hope you feel less sick today.
November 5, 2015
Hi there! Yep, I'm in support garments. I have to wear the bra until the tell me otherwise and the girdle for at least 6 weeks. They are a little uncomfortable but I like wearing them. They make me feel protected. Good luck tomorrow. Post when you can so we know how you're doing.

I will do. Starting to feel a bit sick with nerves. Also I started at today! Not the best time. Worried about going to the toilet in the protective garments cos I'm given one with a hole! you wear pants over the top. So much is going through my head at the mo! Xx

You'll do great. I promise it's not as bad as you are building it up to be. My girdle also has a hole in the crotch. It's quite large so you can keep it on when you pee. It's a weird sensation like peeing your pants, but you get used to it. It's is a lot easier than taking the girdle off. Try to get some good sleep tonight, it'll be done tomorrow!
