5 year update

Well.. I won’t say much I think the pictures speak for themselves and are testament enough for the subpar work he did. I don’t like my nose anymore than I did after getting the cast off and while it was kind of bearable for a while when the majority of the swelling subsided. It has only worsened over time. He will give you the run around to let it settle for a year but quite frankly, he is so aggressive with his work that you will be so swollen for at least 2-3 years. He overfilled my face with fat all the way up to my nasal bridge and he removed so much cartilage that it took years for the skin to start to shrink wrap to the new shape. My nose did not have any of these problems before surgery and most of these were not so obvious until the last year and a half of so. My nose was not crooked, it was not upturned, and it was not collapsed. I was explicit in stating I did not want my nose shortened or upturned and I didn’t want my front view to change, I asked for my nostrils to be symmetric . The pictures clearly show he did everything I did NOT ask for and more. Of course by now it has been so far since the initial surgery that you can’t get a revision covered by him.
Really disappointing that I let myself be fooled by his photoshopped perfect pictures. Yes his profiles are amazing and yes my profile looks great ; however he completely deformed my nose in pursuit of a balanced profile, which quite frankly negates any point in having the procedure in the place.
For anyone considering him, please take into account that he rarely posts consistent angles of all his patients, he only seems to post the most flattering angles. You will find patients with only 3/4 angles or profiles but no front of under nose pics. Now you know why. I have also updated the poor job he did with my fat transfer.
I am of the belief that if you can’t get it right the first time, you will not any time after that. I refuse to go back to him for a revision. Specially given that there are people who ended up worst with their revision. I’m going to consultations now for a revision and it looks like I will need a graft because he removed so much cartilage and I’m getting quotes in the $20k range. So please think twice about going to him. If I would have known any of this I would never have undergone any of my procedures. I feel betrayed, used, and angry. I felt like he preyed on my insecurities and did whatever he wanted. It’s been a long journey, dealing with a sort of identity loss and emasculation and having to deal with this in my early 20’s... Now I have to deal with the consequences. Even some of the docs I consulted with were in disbelief of what was done to me.

Nearing the two year mark. Wow time flies. Sorry I don't get on here often enough or post updates often. I don't really plan to have any more work done in the future and I'm just busy. But here are some pics I managed to snap tonight bored at home. Things have settled very well. There's still a tad bit of swelling in the tip and sides of nose. And I've also noticed my cheeks go down a bit more recently. I'm still not super happy about the cheeks but I can live with them. Also I'm sure as I lean out a bit more they'll probably go down a bit more and also help keep me from looking too haggard and tired . Chin is fine. It's still a little odd in close up pics I feel like it's a tad big and boxy given that I already had a strong jaw but I pull it off fine. Nose is great. No breathing issues. There's a little bump on the right side I'm not sure if it's scar or cartilage it's not too noticeable but I'm hoping it goes away on its own. Also not sure why but my left 3/4 shot looks a little scooped compared to my right 3/4 im not sure if my upper lateral
Cartilage is collapsed but I don't have any breathing issues ... yet. It doesn't bother me too much as it's hardly noticeable in pics.
Overall things have come together nicely get compliments often i.e. Are you a model ? and no one has suspected I had any work.
Would I do it again ? Not sure. Do I regret it ? Not really . I don't worry or feel self conscious anymore so I guess that's always a plus. I'd probably have skipped out on the fat transfer to the cheeks. I did lose a bit of angularity with that. Oh well.
