Let the Journey Begin. - Richmond, VA

This would of been the day I went to my pre op visit with my PS but things have changed. I went to my eye doctor2 days ago and was told my chronic dry eye is really bad so with that and hypothyroidism surgery would be very risky. I have decided to cancel my plans for surgery. I will continue to do what I can to look my best without surgery for the time being. I will thank God every day for the many blessings he has given me and maybe at some point I might see what my Husband sees in me. He has been my rock and says he will be by my side no matter what. I am truly blessed. I want to thank all the wonderful ladies who have given me words of encouragement and great advice especially Beautyrules and Vee. I wish you all the very best. Thanks again to everyone.

Making a list. If anyone can suggest things that I should be buying for my upcoming surgery please let me know. I know the PS will give me meds but what else should I have in place? Thanks ladies.

My consultation with Dr. Montante went well. When he walked into the room I told him my concerns and that I was interested in a face lift and lower surgery. He looked at me played with my face and neck and said you don't need a full face lift. He said the Macs lift with a little facial fat grafting and the lower eyelids would work nicely. When he pulled back the skin on my face and neck he smiled and said you will be very happy with your results. I was sold. It was like he could see the results before he even started. I asked him about my dry eye and he said he would take precautions and that it would be ok. I have since asked several other PS about this because I not only have dry eye but hypothyroidism as well. They suggested I see my eye doctor just to make sure. My appointment is scheduled for 2 days before my pre op testing. Oh and yes I did give the down payment. I am so ready!!!
