How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
  • Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

I made an arms, back and abdomen liposuction, plus fat transfer  in the buttocks. In consultation and appointment previous to surgery (the day of full payment) they were all very friendly, they answered all my questions
My surgery was scheduled for 7 am but the day before somebody called to changed to 9:30. The surgery lasted less than two hours (time record for my opinion), out of surgery I woke up sitting at a "recovery room" naked, sore , with two more patients beside my chair. What makes me think is that, the surgeries are against time. I got to drink three glasses of gatorade, they clothed me and sent me home. All this without checking any vital signs.
Four days later, I went to review, get very sore and bruised (normal after such surgery) but everything was different: No one was friendly as before, they took me to a room to check me, without a robe, A lady named Perla asked me to dropped my pants and the spandex very rude. I asked her several questions and she kept saying that everything is normal, my pain my swelling, everything was normal I should wait to get worse, because I was going to fill painful lumps and balls all over ( and of course is normal). I asked to see Dr Yaguer and when he saw the swelling in one of my arms he sent me to a clinic for x-rays to check my veins with the possibility of having a blood clot. In the radiology clinic they charged me $ 200 wait about 1.5 hour for the test. They did it, and I was told that the results would be between 2-3 days I COULD NOT wait three days so I went immediately to the emergency room at Presbyterian hospital where they practiced me sonograms and catscan, was there for twelve hours, was the only place after the surgery I felt confident because they were controlling me pressure, temperature etc etc I had my heart beats very fast. Doctors thought I was operated outside the United States at the state of my body. Thank God I had no blood clot. I am recovering slowly but to Yaguer office will not go back. The treatment to patients after all payments is terrible, they have no sense of humanity. The doctor is licensed and all the experience he says. Of course practicing surgeries in record time for sure his technique is very good , but ethics as a doctor and human being does not exist. Ladies do not risk your life !!!!!
I am physically and emotionally hurt I hope this serves to think very well before an intervention here.
Visit the clinic and ask to see the "recovery room" (I did not and I regret) :(
