Horrible Experience. No results after spending...

Horrible Experience. No results after spending over $4500. Met with the doctor after the procedure to discuss my results and only was offered to spend more money to try and fix the initial concern I had to begin with. I had several treatments of Cool Sculpting done with no real change. The doctor himself even specified it was slight and he wouldn't recommend I do another treatment, which he said would work for me initially. No compassion, everything was about spending more money. My concerns weren't addressed and no real resolution was offered other than spending more money. I would have preferred a refund but knew that was never going to happen. I initially decided to just chalk it up to a bad experience and let it go, but $4500 is A LOT of money to spend and have no results that the doctor said you were a good candidate for. It bothered me more and more over time because I felt like my money was wasted and none of that was taken into consideration. I was never given a solution other than to spend more money on more procedures the doctor felt would work better. The doctor didn't seem to care. Follow up consult was rushed and comparison pictures weren't even take on my lower back area where I had treatment done. I wouldn't return to this office again or refer anyone I know to this office.

The one star is only being given because of the experience I had with the microblading treatment I received from a previous employee, Amy. She's no longer there, however, I love my eyebrows and was very satisfied with how they turned out. If it wasn't for that, I'd be giving ZERO stars. My bad experience was with both doctors themselves. I initially went in for my eyebrows but as I was leaving from treatment, Dr. Sundin (not sure which one it was at that time) was discussing Cool Sculpting in the hallway with a woman who must have been a rep. I chimed in and indicated that I was interested in it but wasn't sure if I was a good candidate. Dr. Sundin said I should definitely come back in for a consult and discuss my options. I did just that and went it to have a consultation. I was given a quote for Cool Sculpting under my chin as I have an area there that I've always hated. Dr. Sundin assured me that Cool Sculpting would be the best option for me and would be successful with two treatments. He indicated I should notice a difference with one treatment but would definitely need 2 treatments to really see a drastic change. I was sold. I had inquired about Kybella because I heard amazing things about it, but he assured me that Cool Sculpting would be much better for my case. I was so excited that I decided to have him look at my lower back (love handle area). He said I could get one treatment done on 4 segments of my lower back and I should see a good change. He said I was a really good candidate for both areas and gave me the pricing. I was pretty darn excited considering these areas were bothersome to me. More so under my chin. Rachel, one of the assistants went over pricing with me, we scheduled my first session and I gave my deposit. When I came in for that appointment, I had the under my chin area done along with my lower back area. Again, 4 segments of the lower back area and one under the chin. I'm not sure which doctor was present seeing as how they're twins, but I know I've seen each of them throughout this whole process. During my lower back area treatments, the doctor didn't come in and change the machine to the areas of my back. Rachel the assistant did that. Oh, I forgot to mention they did take before pictures of my area under the chin and of my lower back area. After my first treatment, I didn't really see a difference at all, however, Rachel had assured me that it does take up to 4 months to see the any result. So, I waited. I went back again for another treatment under my chin and expressed to Rachel at that time that I hadn't seen any difference in my lower back area or under my chin area. She told me sometimes it takes longer for others and that this second treatment under my chin should really make all the difference. So, again, I had the treatment done the second time only under my chin and I waited, and waited and waited. I didn't see any significant difference. I was really disappointed and upset because I was initially so excited that this was going to work based on what I was told. I realize everyone is different and that results are different for everyone. However, I spent over $4500 on all the treatments and I don't feel there was much change at all. I was so upset that I decided to reach out to Rachel about my disappointment with the money I paid and the results being so minimal, if any. $4500 may not seem like a lot to some, but it's a whole lot of money for me to just throw away on something that wasn't effective. I feel like if I was going to put money into something, I could have done so with something that had immediate results and would definitely make a difference. I went with the advice of the doctor saying I was an excellent candidate and that I'd have wonderful results. Rachel did get back with me and indicated that I needed to come in to meet with the doctor to discuss my results. I did just that and met with Dr. Reps Sundin. A few things about this consultation that was concerning. First off, I was strictly going back in there to voice my concern and see what possible alternatives they had for me. It first started off with Rachel coming in and taking updated pictures of me. She never took any pictures of my lower back area to even compare to my previous pictures. She only took those under my chin. The doctor came in and we did a comparison. The comparison was so ridiculously minimal that it didn't justify coming out of pocket over $4500. He even indicated that there was a SLIGHT difference. He then took another picture of me because he said he needed to get a better angle. Once he did that, he compared the pictures and tried to convince me of the difference from his pictures vs. the picture Rachel took. I feel like I got the complete run around and still didn't get to the bottom of my results. Dr. Sundin said he had other options that were available and went over those with me and of course, gave me a quote which consisted of more money and additional procedures. He once again was against Kybella. He also said he didn't feel Cool Sculpting would be the way to go again. That was a little concerning, considering he initially told me I'd be the perfect candidate, that my results would be wonderful and I'd see a significant difference in all areas treated. He said he didn't feel he could offer my any sort of a refund or an additional Cool Sculpting treatment at no cost because he feels that though there was a slight change, there was still a change. Seriously? How would you even know if there was any change at all on my lower back if pictures weren't even taken to compare? The consultation was rushed, I didn't feel like anything got resolved other than me spending more money on additional procedures to have areas fixed that I already spent over $4500 that was told by the doctor would work. Now I feel like I'm out all this money, nothing has been resolved and I'm still here with no results. I did bring up my lower back to Dr. Sundin and he said when I came back for additional procedures that we'd get some updated pictures of my lower back to compare to the previous ones. Who said I was coming back for anything? I honestly just feel like my concerns weren't even important. I felt like I just threw away $4500 and again, that's A LOT of money for me. Had I seen results, I wouldn't have a single complaint. I wouldn't be concerned about the money I spent because I'd actually have the results to back up the cost. However, when you see that those areas are still exactly the same and you paid to have them treated, that's extremely frustrating. Nothing got resolved. All I was offered was additional procedures that could work at additional costs. I could have just as easy put forth that $4500 towards a surgical procedure that would have been immediate. I wasn't even offered a possible additional Cool Sculpting at no cost, which I would think they could have at least done. I may have possibly considered even that to see if maybe a third one worked, but after meeting with Dr. Sundin and seeing how poorly everything was handled, I wouldn't even consider going back there for that. I personally think I should have been offered some sort of a refund. Again, I had two treatments that had a SLIGHT change (even the words from the doctor himself) when I was told my change would be significant. Not so much that, but there wasn't even a comparison done on my lower back so once again, they didn't even address that at all. It's almost like they didn't care that I spent the money with their practice. Everything was about more procedures and spending more money. Forget what I've already spent and what you told me was going to be effective. There was no compassion from Rachel or the doctor. No concern that I was upset and disappointed. No solution other than, spend more money. This was my first experience dealing with a plastic surgeon office and it was a horrible one. I'd never consider going back there based on how I seemed irrelevant and they didn't seem to want to fix the problem. Ideally, I wish I could just get my money back and see this experience as a lesson learned and leave the areas under my chin and lower back alone and just deal with them. However, based on how they handled it from the beginning, it's all about the money with them regardless of the results. Now I'm out this money and my areas of concern are still the same. I'd definitely do my homework before using this office and wouldn't think of referring anyone there.
