Hi guys,
So I thought I would document my liposuction journey. This is something I’ve been thinking about for a very long time. My weight has always gone up and down over the years, starting from as low as 58 kilos and going as high as 75 kilos. I’m 5’5 by the way :)
It seems not really matter how much weight I gain or lose. My flanks always remain a problem area.
I’m booked in for this Tuesday the 11th with Dr. Chris Lee at the Cosmos Clinic in Canberra. I’ll attach my before photos.
I’m currently sitting at 73 kilos.

5 weeks post Vaser liposuction.

Hey guys,
Sorry for the late review. I wanted things to have well and truly settled before I expressed my opinion.
So today marks exactly 5 weeks post procedure. I am feeling good at the moment but I’ll quickly go back to how the past 5 weeks have been and tell you a bit about the procedure itself.
September 11th I had the actual procedure. The procedure itself went for just over an hour and they managed to take 1000ml from each flank which the Doctor told me was quite a bit. The procedure itself was more painful than I expected, as you are under conscious sedation I expected not to feel anything but obviously that wasn’t the case. I will add it is tolerable though. I got home around 2pm with the procedure taking place around 10am that day, I wasn’t in a lot of pain as I had been given an endone. In terms of leaking that was something I was not prepared for, you are told it is a substantial amount but experiencing it was something else. I suggest putting down old dark bedding. This continued for 72 hours and then slowly tapered off.
Day 3 the pain had well and truly settled in. It hurt to sit up and lay down and at this point it is recommended you are up and moving, to be honest I really struggled with this. I had also accidentally worn a pair of pants on day 3 that left a small indentation mark in my right flank, I knew if I didn’t sort this out ASAP it could be permanent so I contacted a woman who does endermologie massage near me and she was able to see me right away. As painful as it was getting this treatment done this soon after my procedure it did get rid of the indentation. I have now been getting endermologie massages weekly and have felt it has helped with my recovery drastically.
Over the course of the weeks that followed until now I have had my good days and bad days. It was a lot for me to wrap my head around that I couldn’t go to the gym or wear the clothes I wanted to. You kind of need to prepare yourself to be home bound for a while which isn’t something I did. I also lost my appetite following the procedure which I am un sure as to why but since then I have now lost 8 kilos which more than likely contributes to the drastic results I have had. Overall I am so glad I went forward with it. It has completely changed the way my body looks and my self esteem is improving daily.
If you have any questions feel free to ask away.

Heyyyy
It took me about 4 weeks to feel ‘normal’
The first 3 weeks were the toughest but now I’m 6 weeks post procedure and I feel great
No drains also :)

Oh amazing, I’m scheduled in for December 14th and getting soooo nervous now! Is there anything that you didn’t expect that occurred? Ie unevenness or things you couldn’t do? Sorry for heaps of questions!
