WORTH IT
I decided to do a Breast Lift as my 50th birthday present to myself on January 29, 2015 -- after my ex left me for a younger woman. I was very scared of what the recovery would be like, and what the results would look like and couldn't sleep just thinking about what if something goes wrong. But I'm very pleased with the results so far, and feel that the cost was completely worth it (out of my savings). Thanks so much (!!) to Imoan who has been encouraging me and supporting me over Realself.

Happy I did it

Overall very pleased with the results to date. I am gaining back my mobility and slowly adding back my activities day by day. I actually have less pain the previous weeks than the current week. (wonder if anyone out there experienced the same thing) But once again, the pain is manageable .. I'm just trying to avoid any pain killers unless absolutely necessary.

I'm on the same time schedule as you. I have had a good bit of little zingy pains come and go over the last 4 or 5 days--making me constantly aware of my breasts. From what I've read it's probably the nerves regenerating so it's actually a good thing. Today though I have actually had none of those feelings and actually didn't give them another thought until just now. I have been using one of those small stationary pedal bike things (like people get to put under there desks at work) for the last week or so. went over to the indoor track at our church this afternoon to see how I would do with a brisk walk--first time since surgery. Well--once I got started I REALLY enjoyed it and ended up walking 5 miles, which was my norm since about September. I guess I'M BAAACK!!!! Hang in there!!

Hi. This is cool that we're on the same schedule. I had some pain last week, but this week is not bad at all. I also didn't dare to do a lot of activities the first 4 weeks because I was afraid it might affect the healing of the scars. But now I'm feeling confident enough to pick up my activities and long walks again. Just like you, I'm starting to become less conscious of my breasts. What a different feeling from 4 weeks ago! Can't wait until I'm well enough to get back in my bikinis and go swimming again.

Hello, did you get a lift without implants? I have been pondering that but am afraid to lose cup size. Thanks for sharing!!! You look great!!!!

I did not do implants as I am just more comfortable not having them in my body. Just a personal thing. thanks for your support.

Your results look great! I'm debating a lift vs lift w/implants, and your before photo looks a lot like mine - do you feel you have a good amount of fullness at the top/upper poles? Right now, my boobs just kind of puddle at the bottom of my bras, and I'd love to be able to wear any type of bra and get a nice, round shape. :)
