1 year 4 months post op

Life has been busy and so much for my 1 year update lol I'll be 18 months post op before I know it and I can't believe it! I love my new girls and am so happy I had my surgery! I had my 1 year post op appointment with Dr Pugash on June 6th, exactly one year post op. He said everything looks fabulous and it was my last checkup unless I ever have any problems or questions. I cannot believe it's already been a year!! I finally started lifting weights again back in May 2018. I didn't feel comfortable working out my upper body until then and my surgeon recommended waiting as long as I could. I continue to always make sure to wear supportive bras, I wear mostly Victoria secret knockout sports bras and some made by Change. I haven't found my new girls getting in the way while I play soccer (I do again wear supportive bras) so I think my boobs have been a wonderful addition! Tops and dresses fit way better and I feel more feminine than ever before LoL

15 weeks and 2 days PO

I'm 15 weeks and 2 days PO today. I love my new girls!!! They are fantastic!! I fill out a bra and a bathing suit, it's wonderful!! I went dancing with a couple friends a few weeks back and didn't have to worry about my chicken cutlets (silicone boob inserts you stick in your bra lol) falling out of my bra or moving around. It was so nice to just dance and have a good time, I didn't worry about my chest once! How liberating lol I think the girls are still changing and I anticipate that my final results will be around 8 to 12 months. I'm back to playing soccer 3 times a week and I feel just like I did before my BA, which I'm so grateful for. That was one of my concerns, I absolutely didn't want my new boobs to negatively effect my physical activities like running and sports. They are perfect for me and they aren't in the way or annoying at all. I love looking down now!!! I've been avoiding upper body exercises since surgery but I'm planning to start a new workout program this week that has push-ups, a lot of push-ups!!! So I'll update on that in the future. My PS said to wait as long as possible before doing chest exercises, so I've been impatiently waiting, knowing I don't want to chance causing any damage to my new girls! A bunch of ladies from my soccer team didn't even realize I had surgery over the summer and I thought that was great!! I wanted boobs to match my butt and build, Dr Pugash did just that!!! I'm soooooooooooo happy with my results!
I do still, every now and then, get slight zingers, mostly in my left breast. I still have little to no feeling on that side so I'm hopeful I'll eventually get some feeling back. I still hate real bras and hope to live life in supportive sports bra! I bought 3 real bras in beginning of August and I've worn 2 of them once! Lol that's all I have right now :)

10 weeks and a few days PO

I'm finally free of my strap and surgical bra and I couldn't be more excited!!!!!!!!! I had a PO appointment last week and he said everything looked perfect! It felt incredible to hear my breasts referred to as perfect, I even high fived my surgeon lol I was given the OK to get sized and went to a place called Changes in Vancouver (I also intend on eventually getting sized at Forever Yours and Diane's just to see the difference and to be able to properly buy bras at a few places). I ended up being a 34G at Changes which sounds terrifying but the wonderful woman that assisted me assured me that their sizing was a little different lol I bought a couple under armour zip front sports bra (so comfy) in a 36DD and probably could squish into a 36D if I really wanted impact support! I bought 2 sports bras and 3 regular bras from Changes because they had a buy 3 get 2 free promotion. I would have bought more sports bras but they only had the 2 in my size. They will definitely be my soccer bras because my boobs don't move a mm in them. I wore them both (separately lol) in a beach soccer tournament I was in last weekend and I didn't feel any different playing soccer now than I did before my BA! Exactly what I was hoping for!! I really didn't want my breasts to get in the way of my active lifestyle or effect my ability to play sports (I even played goal in the Beach Soccer tourney and didn't even notice my boobs!!) I'm extremely glad I made the decision to get my boobs done, I love them more and more everyday, especially now that I'm not trapped in that strap and surgical bra!!! I sleep in a light sports bra and wear sports bra 100% of the time, even though I bought a couple real bras lol we'll see if that changes lol I think that's all I've got for now. I feel 100% back to my normal self, just not doing upper body specific workouts yet. My PS said wait as long as you can before starting those up again so it's been all legs and booty for this girl ;)

I've had a wonderful experience with Dr Pugash! His staff is amazing, Simone is the loveliest lady!! I highly recommend him!! He's honest, up front, professional, thorough and a fantastic doctor. I had a great experience at the surgical center, everything was clean and professional. Everyone at the surgical center was awesome too. One of my nurses was hilarious and we were joking and I was giggling as she was getting me ready. It was an all around excellent experience!! If I ever had another procedure I'd definitely go to Dr Pugash!!
