Finally have the nerve and finances to inquire...

Finally have the nerve and finances to inquire about a revision. My original nose is short, piggy like with hanging columella and asymmetrical nostrils. Waited a long time to do this and always hated my nose...my own mother tried to get me to see a doctor years ago but I guess she was just trying to help. Pretty common issues from what I can tell from this site, which is great by the way.

Found A Doc in LA
I leave this weekend for a consult with Dr Gary Motykie in LA.
His photos show exactly what I need re my revision rhino.
Hope I’m making a good decision as there doesn’t seem to be any doctors in Vancouver to perform the kind of surgery I need.
Any and all comments welcome.

Have you scheduled a surgery date with him? I had a consultation with him last month, but I’m not convinced he’s the best one for the job. But hopefully you had a better experience with him. He’s very well priced as well!

No surgery date yet but my consult went very well.
The reviews for him are quite good and his before and after pics amazing!!!
Price I found to be standard, $8k.

How is your healing process going? I got my nose done by Dr. Motykie on June 7th. Still very swollen of course.

Your morph looks fantastic but Im being honest when I say your before nose looks good too. I have just had my third rhinoplasty with Lucian Ion and he has done a lovely job. Hope you get everything you are looking for x

Thank you 963tal but I feel very self conscience about my nose and simply can't stand how ugly it looks to me. I tried to see Dr Ion but he wanted to perform an open procedure with grafts and I'm simply not prepared to do this. He's also very far from me and almost twice the price of the doc I found in LA. So happy the third times the charm for you and Dr Ion was as good as people say he is, xo

Yes, my new nose is coming along beautifully. Need to post new pics soon.
The docs fee was a reasonable $8000
