Vbeam for treatment of Poikiloderma of Civatte

I sought treatment for Poikiloderma of Civatte (sun damage on neck). I'm very fair and was told that I'm am an ideal candidate and should see dramatic improvement after three sessions. The procedure went as described however, they didn't mention that you will smell burning skin during the treatment. Disconcerting, considering the treatment is supposed to be therapeutic. Overall, I noticed very little improvement so stopped after two treatments.
