Tummy tuck
Dr markarian performed the tummy tuck and you can pair it with a general surgeon to repair the umbilical hernia which I was so excited to learn. Because a general surgeon will just fix the hernia but they won’t make it pretty! Dr markarian did an incredible job.
So Worth It!
Dr Markarian was incredible! He explained everything in detail and set realistic expectations, which exceeded what I was hoping for! He is truly an artist!
I had twins and developed an umbilical hernia and bad stretch marks. I was petrified if my shirt lifted just a tad because I didn’t want anyone to see. Now I can wear crop tops!
The surgery itself is pretty intense, you can’t stand straight for 10 days so I would recommend 2 weeks off work. After a week you feel much much better. It’s similar to a c section but a bit more intense and longer recovery because your belly is numb for 6 weeks. Also consider getting lots of loose clothing for the incision. For me the timing was perfect because I stay home with the kids and they all started school full time so I could wear sweat pants. If you’re a working professional you might want to consider this. Also I think with young kids it would be really hard because they wouldn’t understand why you can’t pick them up and you really can’t for 8 weeks.
