Last update for now

Getting the hernia addressed today (can’t see it here) but I wanted to officially share the beautiful work Dr. Gorin and his staff did on my pancake stomach.

I’ll be getting extra lipo but am I satisfied overall? Yep!

It’s been a year

One year today! .

I’m overall happy with my results aside from wanting more lipo, so I will be getting in Washington state so I can achieve an even slimmer look.

Dr.Gorin while quick was still very kind to me and answered my questions during recovery.
Pros:
-absolutely love my bellybutton

-I really like my shape now

-wonderful bedside manner

-his staff is friendly

-provide plenty of supplies for recovery so you are prepared

-fixed my dog ear

Cons:

-I felt my last checkup, well, most of my checkups were very rushed so I didn’t feel like I could voice my concerns with the hernia or muscle repair which is why I’ll simply be taking those concerns elsewhere.

-I’m almost 100% certain the umbilical hernia is back again. It’s been painful and I’m not sure how long it will take to resolve on its own but I’m consulting with a general surgeon to take a look and evaluate for next steps. It’s been around since October but getting larger and more painful. Hurts to do some workouts etc

I do appreciate him and his staff. The experience was good OVERALL, though.

I don’t know if I’ll be going back for my next procedures, personally, simply because of how rushed things felt so my important concerns went unheard and I’m having to outsource to get it resolved asap but I will always recommend him to friends, family and clients.

7 months post op and 4 days post op revision

Long time no update! I had a revision due to some excess tissue on my sides (dog ears-mainly the left) and some fullness in my upper abdomen that was addressed with liposuction.

I’m only 4 days post op. This pic is without garment for about 4 hours since I was getting too hot.
I have hope that keeping compression will help my sides slim down and hopefully my waist as I still feel very boxy as well but I’m staying positive!

On a lighter note, still very pleased with the revision experience over all and how quick and painless it was. Afterward. I was trying to take it easy the night of but the next day I was ready for a walk around the neighborhood just fine, I haven’t needed pain meds, even!

I go back in the office on Wednesday to check in on it and I’d imagine more time is needed. In the meantime, I’m working on my shape through aerobics and keeping compression.
