90 pound weight loss, never had a flat belly
beanx2January 16, 2017
Welp, here I go! I had a gastric sleeve in August 2015 and have since lost 90 pounds. I really leveled off and am quite happy with my number on the scale and my diet habits now, but I know that even if I lost another 40 I will never get rid of this belly. In a way, I am less satisfied with the body I have now then I had before. I always had it in the back of my mind that I would have plastics and now, here I finally am. I chose a relatively new doctor, which is intimidating, as there is no portfolio to look at, no photographic evidence that he knows what he's doing! But I feel extremely comfortable with Dr. Cisco and his staff, and he works with an experienced surgeon who will also be my first assist. My bariatric surgeon gave me his name and I am really confident that this will work out well!
These pictures are not the easiest thing to post. But I've been stalking this page for months and I know how much it has helped me to read and see everyone's progress, good and bad. Yes, it's scary, but hopefully it helps someone else too. I know I have a lot more skin to take off than the average tummy tuck!
My extended tummy tuck and liposuction will be in only 8 days! I am working the day before to get in as many hours as I can. My mom will be flying in a couple days before to be there since I have a kiddo and my husband can't take off too much time. I have a rented recliner chair coming and cleaners to get the house ready....I think I'm ready, and certainly reasdy to get it over with!

Whoo hooo!
I made it through! And this is by far the best recovery room experience I've ever had. They did insist on making me stay the night which was making me a little pissy beforehand, but of course now I'm glad I did. The anesthesia MD here was absolutely FABULOUS and I haven't had any nausea, save for a little dizzy spell on my first attempt to the bathroom. And I haven't peed yet so I gotta keep trying there! I'm the only patient here and I get my own 2 nurses who are fantastic....no complaints at all!
Course I've been sleeping since pretty much 11 and now wide awake at 10 pm....bring on the jacked up sleep schedule. And I know a lot of this is exparal, and it's going to get worse, but for now, yay!
Can't see much yet but definitely looks different down there....
