3 months post op

I'm in love with my results! Never in my wildest dreams could I picture myself looking this amazing.

No more HANGING!! 17 days post op.

Both pictures are taken while I am bent over. Take note, no drains!! Thanks to my amazing surgeon's drainless procedure. My panties have never stayed in place in the front. They always rolled down underneath all that belly. Not anymore. I can't wait to get back into the gym and add all the exercises I was too insecure to do because of the fear of my belly showing. Who else can relate?

Tummy Tuck & Breast Lift w/ Augmentation?

I had my surgery April 13th with Dr. Henry Mentz in Houston, TX. I am thrilled with my results!! After quite a bit of weight loss on my own, I reached a point of realization that my mid section wasn't ever going to look how I wanted it to. (Genetics). I chose my surgeon after researching quite a bit. I wasn't about to discount shop for my health and life. His credentials blew me away. He was actually recommended to me by some people at my gym. www.mybeautifulbody.com is where I first reviewed him. Did I mention that his procedure was completely DRAIN FREE!! He also includes stage 1 & 2 garments & lymphatic massage. They also drove me foam sheets same day (I live 1.5 hours away) when I had a vertical crease that needed flattened.

Overall rating

Dr. Mentz and his staff made me feel so comfortable and unashamed from day 1! I worked very hard with a healthy diet and weightlifting for 2 years taking my pant size from a 16/18 to an 8. My body was prepared for the stress of recovery due to that 2 year preparation. I contribute my weight training and overall condition to the reason that my body felt more soreness than pain. I had a tummy tuck, lipo and breast lift with augmentation. I also had fat grafting to the buttocks. After day 5, I did not need pain medication. I was still moving slowly but once again, the weight lifting and getting into shape as much as possible beforehand was the best prep for my body's recovery. I also did not have swelling to the lower extremities and it's been minimal everywhere else because even during recovery, I continued to drink a gallon of water everyday and eat low sodium foods. TAKE YOUR VITAMINS, DRINK YOUR WATER, AND DO WHAT THE DR. SAYS. This surgery was not an end all, be all for me, it was an enhancement to areas that I wasn't going to be able to modify on my own accord. Today makes 7 weeks post op for me and I am back in the gym doing light work and working my way back to what I was doing before. I have continued to meal prep and make the right dietary choices. I want to continue to improve my fitness and aesthetic look so the grind must continue. Protect your investment, as they say!! Today I turned 36 and I have never in my life looked this incredible or more importantly, felt this incredible. No more tugging at the front of my shirt when I sit down, no more pulling my pants over my hanging belly, no more holding things in front of me to make me feel like it hid the belly, no more shying away from certain exercises in fear that it would expose my stomach. No more hiding from my husband when I am changing clothes and HELLO fitted tops, tucked in shirts, shirts that aren't always long. I am brand new!! If those insecurities sound familiar to you, then having this surgery, if you are healthy and plan on continuing to be active, is the absolute best decision you will ever make! I wish I could've done it sooner but I waited until I was fit enough and until my youngest could get in/out my vehicle on his own since I knew I would have a weight lifting limit for a while. If you have any questions, I will gladly help you with whatever I can. i have posted pictures on my profile up to 6 weeks post -op. I'll continue adding more along the way. His nurse always replied to my text messages in a timely manner and I could also call their office anytime during business hours if I had/have concerns.....Oh and he has a drainless tummy tuck method which I've heard was amazing to not deal with drains. That's right, I had no drains! He also uses Exparel which numbs the tissue for 3-5 days to minimize pain and I KNOW that it was effective. It wasn't until day 5 that I felt the soreness hit me.
