Trim Labiaplasty

WORTH IT

Day 1: Had my operation today. Was very nervous as I didn't know if I was going to go with the Trim or the Wedge option before going into today. I decided to go with the Trim due to concerns about the wedge recovery and the possibility of splitting open the scars.

Procedure: Dr. Wanzel and the nurse were lovely and made me feel very comfortable. He explained everything he was doing and made sure I was ok. The needle- like most people mention- was the most painful thing about the operation today. After that it just felt a bit weird but no pain.

After: The numbing is starting to wear off about 4 hours later and I can definitely feel that something happened down there. Feels like I've been kicked in the vagina a bit! I will probably take a T3 painkiller later tonight. I wanted an extremely natural look with my labiaplasty and I'm happy to see that he did not take off too much from what I can see at this point. It's swelling a bit on one side but we will see how it goes from here.

Looks a bit gross at this point but looking forward to see how it turns out.

Hi there! Pain has been manageable! It might be nice to get it all done at once so you don't have to take multiple times where you can't do anything for a period of time after the surgeries. Advil has also helped. As long as you can just sit around and not move too much it's not like you are not in constant pain- its more like if you walk around too much or if you sit weird. Let me know if you have any other questions :)

Day 3- Wouldn't let me upload a photo for some reason- will try to add it another time.

Things have been going ok! The first two days were pretty sore down there so I tried not to walk around too much. Today I went for a bit of a walk but it started to feel sore again so I'm try to take it easy for the rest of the day. One side is more swollen than the other and theres a few lumps and bumps. The stitches on one side are hidden much more than the other side which I hope is ok. I don't want it to get infected or not heal properly because it's being covered by the other side. Hoping the more swollen side will settle soon so I can also see the other side better.

Tips- Day 3

Fearless190187
I would suggest having a small makeup mirror on hand in the bathroom- It's made it so much easier to apply polysporin and to clean the area and to just see whats going on down there. Also would suggest having a pillow in between your legs when you go to sleep (if you're a side sleeper). Helps with any discomfort due to pressure of your legs squeezing together.
