How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.

Measured Today

So I went to Nordstroms and measured as a 32 DD. There were no bras that worked for me. Next I went to a specialty store (carries mostly European brands) and measured as a 32 FF. Good freaking goodness....the sign on the dressing room read, "Your Plastic Surgeon measures in CC. We measure in inches." The bra buying process is going to be interesting. The only bra that the specialty store had mimicked 1950's Grandma Rocket bras....clearly there are worse things in this world but the bra size post surgery is something I was not prepared for!

5 weeks post op

I am feeling like myself again! When advice on "everyone recovers differently is given", it is true! I am sub muscular Natrelle 410 with 475 cc in each and it took me until week 4 to feel like my implants were not going to rotate! I have now been walking a hilly course, @30 minutes followed by some lunges and pliƩ exercises. I imagine I will start my arms in the next two weeks.
I measured a 32DD which was shocking to me. My desire was a full C so that measurement freaked me out. But I look normal in my clothes, we'll see how I look in my gym clothes! The bathing suit will be difficult for me, I am not one who enjoys people to stare at me but an empty and saggy barely B to a DD at our neighborhood pool will be noticed!
I am attaching a bathing suit picture, hope everyone readin this is recovering well or happy in their planning process!

2 Weeks since augmentation!

So yesterday was my 2 week boobaversary. I am feeling better, much easier to move around but can't lift kids, hard to do grocery shopping with forgetting I can't pull down back door and wanting to exercise! But, it will come in time.
Very few people know about my procedure so I am curious to see what they will say. Preparing for the following dialogue, "Why, does it look like I got a boob job...guess that's a compliment." Ha ha! My parents do not know, wish I could capture their look on camera. Anyways, 4th if July fireworks here we come.
I can't stress the importance of resting and time, as well as having a strong and dependent support network.
Here are some pictures, time to go bathing suit shopping!
Happy 4th Everyone!

So far I can only review my doctor in a positive manner, and I feel like we will have a life-long positive relationship. I only went to two surgeons and I feel quite safe with Dr. Petti. Her staff has been extremely helpful and patient in response to my phone calls and questions. I think what makes me most excited to work with Dr. Petti are the numbers of great looking pictures from her website of work that has been done, as well as her "About Me" section. I loved reading that she is close to her Father, as well as her daughters and husband. I am thankful to have found Dr. Petti.
