Exactly 1 month post surgery!
I had been thinking about doing a lower face lift...
I had been thinking about doing a lower face lift for the past year (2017). I did lots of research online (including watching surgeries on YouTube!!)
I found an amazing plastic surgeon in Toronto, (Yorkville) and did my consult in November 2017. I addressed with him about my gowles which I have noticed were slowly developing.
So after my consult I booked my surgery date in January 2018 to be performed early February.
The surgeon also did CO2 fractional laser (while I was in surgery) after the lower lift. He also did PRP and put my own plasma all over after the CO2 laser. This helps with healing.
So day of surgery I was a bit nervous, but the surgeon is so kind and made me feel safe and at ease.
When I woke up, my face felt like it was on FIRE!! Like a bad sunburn! This is normal after CO2 laser. The pain of that lasted an hour if less.
I went home with my boyfriend who took amazing care of me.
I couldn't sleep the first night and could tell my face was swelling, my eyes were the worst when I woke up!!
The pictures I am going to share will show before (the gowles) then the ones following will be 4 hours post surgery, then day after surgery (where my whole face and eyes were very swollen!!!) But I have to say, I had no pain!!! It just felt like "pressure" due to swelling. Then other pictures (and videos) I'll post I took a few every day for about a week or maybe up to two weeks after (I can't remember lol)
So I hope this might help if someone is considering this!
