Juvederm Scam: Ladies DO NOT go to ICI Paris for FILLERS! - Toronto, ON

This is my story:
I went in for filler Mon. Oct.19/2015. After explaining my previous "bad" experience @ a well-known spa in Yorkville and explaining my issues w/dishonest, unethical doctors/nurses, Susan (not her read name) proceeded to inject one syringe of Juvederm in my right nasiolabial fold. I asked to see the empty syringe & was told it was thrown away: Red Flag #1. My left nasiolabial fold was then injected. FYI, I asked to see the full syringe then the empty one to ensure that I was receiving the product I paid for. It was very clear to me that more work & time was spent on my left fold. I asked why & was given an indirect answer: Red Flag #2. When looking/feeling my face it is very clear to others & myself that much more product was injected in the left side of my face. Susan threw the first syringe away before I could see it. Empty? She most definitely used only a portion of the first syringe & didn't plan on me asking to see the empty vial. Ladies, please ask to see the syringes - first full then empty!
Before I paid my bill, I asked for copies of everything I signed including the medical record indicating where/how much product I received. Additionally, I asked to see the labels taken off each syringe. These labels list the lot # & date of the product. Expired products should never, ever be used on a client. Susan & Marsha (not her real name), her partner, did not count on me being so diligent asking for copies of the paperwork I signed. Ladies please get copies of everything & make sure those syringe labels are attached to your medical record and take note of the expiry date!
After reviewing my documents & medical record, I noticed that expired product was injected into my face. I was so upset my hands were shaking. Susan & Marsha made their best effort to defend themselves by saying the mistake was "honest". Professional & ethical injectors check the expiry date of their products unless, of course, they are hoping that you don't ask for copies of your record to learn the truth: Red Flag #3.
I waited & waited to speak to someone, a manager, and was told by a woman w/red hair, who works @ the front reception desk that there is no manager: What? The woman was very evasive & unhelpful: Red Flag #4.
Finally, and after much insistence, I was able to speak to Jennifer (not her real name), who listened patiently to my story. She said she would investigate further. FYI, the day after my procedure I received an email from ICI Paris claiming that using expired product was acceptable. BEWARE!
In conclusion, I received a full refund (approx. $1,500) & an opportunity to have a facial on the house. Quite honestly, I really don't want to go back to this facility.
Furthermore, I did follow-up research on the internet & realself; the consensus is - never use expired product on a client. It is unsafe to do so & compromises patient care.
Please ladies: Run don't walk from the in-house ICI Paris injector & her partner. Find a reputable, honest PS or dermatologist. Make sure you are getting the product you paid for & that it is being injected into the proper layer of skin otherwise you will end up w/cuts to your face as I did; ask for all your paperwork including medical records; get a REFUND if you are NOT HAPPY. I have received 4 refunds in the last year due to unethical injectors. It is your face & you deserve the best! BE WARNED!
