Side profile 5 weeks post op

4 week mark

4 weeks today and I'm still very happy with my results :) was able to get in my first workout yesterday and even went for a jog today with no issues! I ended up having to cut my sutures inside my nostrils and pull two out, because I felt they were very obvious and would not go away lol. Other than that, my airway is still patent, and I'm starting to worry less about people and things bonking my nose. I still feel like the tip is just slightly swollen, but even if it didn't decrease anymore Id still be head over heels in love with my new nose :) All of my friends and loved ones absolutely love my new nose and I've already got three gfs who want to consult now with Dr. Oakley Smith. Overall, best decision I ever made! Life is too short for insecurities. Xx

1 Day Shy of Being 2 weeks Post Op

So I figured I'd make an update for my two week mark today rather than tomorrow, which is my actual two week mark, because I'll be back to work tomorrow doing a 12hr day and will most likely not feel like posting an update lol Swelling is still present, but fairly minimal. I still have some dissolvable sutures in situ to the inside of my nose and some build up of dried crusts there that I'm patiently waiting to be gone. Other than that, I am over the moon excited about my new nose! Still can't believe sometimes that this is my nose! :) On a side note, so far I've been able to enjoy some casual drinks/bevies with friends and have not yet noticed any increase in swelling, which was a relief! I've also really been enjoying sitting in the steam room at my gym lately and feel it helps loosen up any of those old crusts in my nose.
