10 Week Update

Feeling great, very happy with the entire process. The scar is healing well. I have been back to normal running and working out for the past 3 weeks. I still feel pulling when I stretch or reach high overhead but otherwise no significant issues at all.

Two Week Update

Just had my two week visit with Dr. Chase. Everything is healing up very nicely. I feel great, only tightness really. I have been walking 4-6 miles per day. I have been cleared now to start low weight, high rep weights, elliptical and stationary bike. No running yet due to impact and friction. I am beyond pleased so far.

The drains came out today, thank goodness! Incision is healing very nicely. I am very, very pleased so far.

Dr. Christopher Chase did my abdominoplasty on Tuesday, August 8 at 12 PM. The procedure lasted about three hours. He did an absolutely amazing job. I am already off of my pain meds and up and walking a lot. I only have any significant pain when I stand up and sit down. Otherwise I feel great. I am sure I will have to be very careful not to be tempted to do too much too fast and let things heal up solidly. He and his staff listen well, answer questions quickly and honestly and are extremely attentive to your needs and anxiety. One of his assistants, Cassie, answered my numerous email questions very quickly in the weeks leading up to surgery. His surgical facility is top rate. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
