Hernia Surgery with No Scarring - Tampa, FL

I was diagnosed with a hernia approximately 2 1/2 inches above my naval. I did some research and found a board certified surgeon. After examining me, he informed me that this would be a relatively simple hernia surgery and that he would make a two inch incision right over the hernia. The last thing I wanted was an ugly scar right in the middle of my abdomen, that would mean no more bikinis! I had heard several radio interviews with Dr. Diaco. During one of the interviews, a caller asked about hernia surgery and Dr. Diaco said it was an easy surgery that could be done laparoscopically with little to no scarring. I scheduled a complimentary consultation with him and he assessed the hernia. He said that he could go in through my naval and that there would be no scar. As promised, he performed the surgery and there is no scar or trace of ever having had a surgery. Not only was Dr. Diaco a highly competent surgeon, but the entire staff at the surgery center was wonderful as well. I had never had a surgery, so I was probably most nervous about the anesthesia. I went to see Dr. Diaco and the surgery center team two days before my surgery. They went over the process with me and assured me that it would be a smooth procedure and that I had nothing to worry about. I felt better going into the surgery. The staff treated me very well and the surgery was over and I was on my way home an hour after the surgery. I did not have any negative side affects from the surgery or anesthesia. It was a positive experience and I would go back to Dr. Diaco and the surgery center without hesitation.
