2 wk post op (Couple days early)
Got the steri strips off, and now I want them back! I am the most uncomfortable I think now, than before! I took a percocet tonight and am not wearing the bra to bed - it hurts to have pressure on them...I think the scars look good - close up they are a little scary but I am going to start using scar away in a couple days and see how that goes - I am not too worried about the scarring since they will be covered all the time anyway!
First day back at work
Worked 3-9 today - Had an assistant from 5-9. My first client has long hair and I color/highlight her, the shampooing was weird, I knew I used my pectoral muscles when I shampoo, but I felt like I could hardly use pressure today. I give great shampoos, so she probably felt jipped today! Haha! The blowdrying was sloppy too - couldn't really do it normally so it was half hearted.. glad I got her dryed, flat ironed and out the door! I did't have to shampoo or dry my other clients because of my assistant - I can't imagine how I would have felt at 9pm without having her. I am tired - but not as much as I thought I would be - I don't have my assistant tomorrow as she has a day job but easy clients until my last one, who has long hair... will have my assistant back Saturday.
This is when I miss working for a salon that had assistants on the payroll.. I rent space now and love it, but that is one of the perks I totally miss!
I am still in good spirits - I have been taking 1/2 a valium twice a day last couple days and 1 percocet at night - no pain still just that weird pressure from the lift.
Boobs still like look and feel fake, but I know they will drop and get squishy - its only been a week! Patience is not a virtue of mine, sadly. :)
