Bruce Landon, MD

I have always had sagging breasts, even as a young woman. As I got older, I gained some weight - much of it in the breasts. Nothing enviable about it - I looked matronly and wanted to wear flattering clothes. Dr. Bruce Landon did a terrific job of giving me realistic expectations and the procedure went smoothly. It is a rather gruesome surgery - I almost fainted at the sight of my nipples almost cut off - and I did not heal at the rate the patient care person indicated I might, but overall I am very satisfied with the procedure and the doctor.

I'm in my early 60s and have never - even as a young eoman- been able to pass the pencil test. My breasts have always been saggy. Basically, I got tired of feeling top-heavy and matronly with my 36 DD, not being able to wear plunging neckline clothes without looking like Dolly Parton, and tired of wearing bras with bands that cut me in two. I am a small C now, and I ove it. The only issue with this surgery is it is gruesome, with nipples being almost cut off and sewn back on in a higher position and, in my case, going from the diameter of a soda can to a half-dollar. Seeing them stitched back on made me queasy, but I took all precautions, am healing well, and definitely recommend Dr. Landon. His patient coorinator told me I could probably drive within a few days and have other plastic surgeries II want just a few days later, but that was not the case for me. It took me a week to be able to dress myself, two weeks to drive, and four weeks to be able to lift items off high shelves. Perhaps it depends on one's age. You have to pretend as if your arms are nonfunctioning for the first few weeks in my experience. All in all, great doctor and definitely worth it.

I’m very happy with Dr. Landon and his staff! I met Dr Landon as I was meeting different doctors to see who I felt comfortable with. I’ve had 3 kids, nursed them all, and was really looking forward to enhancing my look. Dr Landon and his staff answered all of my questions and made me feel very comfortable. I’m still healing but I love the way things are looking. I even love I have a designated member of his staff, Carmen, that I meet with for all my checkups (she’s the absolutely the best!). If you are looking for a doctor, definitely do your research but Dr Landon and his staff are great.

2 friends referred me to Dr. Landon. I scheduled my consult with Jennifer. The office was nice and clean. The receptionist was very friendly. Dr Landon was professional and listen to my concerns. He gave me his professional opinion and I was scared of what he had to say but I ultimately trusted him and told him to go with that he thought would be best. On the day of surgery I was terrified but the staff really made me feel comfortable through the process of getting put to sleep. After my surgery I woke up to the OR nurse in my room. She helped me on a wheel chair and wheeled me out to the car. Carmen (pre-op nurse) assured me that my recovery pain would be minimal to none thanks to Dr. Landon’s gentle hand during surgery. She was absolutely right! I took pain killers the day of surgery and the day after. After that I barely needed Tylenol. My breasts are healing beautifully and I’m so happy I told Dr. Landon to go for the larger size he suggested. I’m positive I wouldn’t have been satisfied had I gone any smaller. He put in 450cc (left) & 400cc (right) Mentor, high profile, silicone/gummy bear implants.

I came to Dr Landon to have my 10+ yr old saline implants taken out and replaced with silicone. I was having what my general practitioner called phantom pain & saw rippling (could see the implant through the skin). My friend had hers done with Dr Landon & highly recommended him. We both are ocd about researching, & I have been thinking about this for the last 3 years.
From receptionist, to consultation, to the nursing staff, I felt comfortable, respected & listened to. Anna, Jenn, Carmen & Dr Landon all welcomed my questions, never made me feel rushed &made me feel like they were genuine. After speaking with Dr Landon about my concerns (I wanted them to be closer together, a cup size bigger, worried about rippling), he took the time to explain that alot of it will depend on the natural way my breasts lay on my body. Also I have a smalll frame, but that he would do several things like a) remove the scar tissue and suture the sides to bring them in a little. Also the cohesive implant while a little more expensive would help with the issues I was concerned about. After my consult he suggested I get a few more opinions, and decide. But I felt confident with Dr. Landon & his office. I decided to go with the cohesive silicone gel implants and am 6 days into recovery. ( My friends look amazing btw) I am pleased with them and can't wait to see them 3-6 months from now! My mom is even having a consult with him at my next post op! I am also going back to consult for laser on my face.
Also, the nurse & anesthesiologist made me feel so relaxed and made me laugh. I cant say enough about what a personable and awesome experience it was.

I went for the consultation with Dr Landon he answered all my questions and made me and my husband feel so comfortable. I didn’t feel rushed at all. I got my tummy tuck and from the first visit to post op all his staff were wonderful. They are so kind and caring. I would definitely recommend him for any procedures and will be looking forward to getting my breasts done in the future as well.

Dr. Landon is a perfectionist and compassionate. I have had a facelift and breast lift with Dr. Landon. He gave me back my confidence and my youthful looks! I highly recommend Dr.Landon to anyone considering plastic surgery.

I originally had a breast augmentation transumbiblically (through the belly button) 380cc on left and 420 cc in right, saline, over the muscle about 13 years ago. After breastfeeding two kids I had extremely saggy boobs and the right side was encapsulated. You could see rippling of the left implant as well. I wore a DD bra but a lot of it was just skin.

After researching a couple years before now I went with Dr. Landon. He was so kind and never rushed. Every single staff member was super sweet. I was told to contact anytime whether by phone, email, or text. The same care has been shown after surgery.

Post surgery, I’ve felt pretty good. Surprise, the right implant was partially under the muscle. So that’s why my left side is more sore than my right bc it had more work done. I stopped pain meds and only taking Tylenol since last night (post op day 2). Pain meds were needed and worked but we’re giving me headaches and chills. I feel way better now. Def did too much today and need to take it easier. My left side just feels tight and shoulder is sore too. Sleeping sitting up is getting old fast. My poor butt lol.

Yesterday the nurse took off the gauze. She and my husband noted that everything looks great. Tonight I attempted to shower. May sound crazy but it was too much seeing my boobs, and they were sensitive to the air. I was also told taking off the bra can cause the blood to rush bc it’s tight.

I’m super happy so far and I’m recovering fine. It’s defintiely more mental in my opinion trying to heal but wanting to get stuff done. House is a mess and I’ve got two kids! My husband loves them already and comments how he wants to grab them lol. Looking forward to getting back active again. I plan to update every two weeks.

No idea how ladies on here are able to take pics from different angles early on. lol I have to wear this tight bra pictured for two weeks with only a break during showers. Even though the bottom band can get a bit snug, I'm actually more comfortable and secure feeling with it on. Its hard feeling super good but not able to actually do things. I have to remember it's only been 4 days! Taking it easy but using t-rex arms to lightly clean up and keep my two year old entertained. She's actually been a fantastic helper with mama's boo boos.

Got some decent pics of the work while I lay here a bit. Thought taking off the bra and remaining seated for a second would keep me from feeling light headed. As said before the bra is tight so taking it off can make the blood rush. So far so good. The bottom scars aren’t painful but have mad themselves known. Added extra gauze just to cushion bottom incisions and the bra.

Yesterday had my surgical strips replaced and some stitches trimmed. The same will happen with my appointment next week. A little pain and pull at the t junction but more annoying than actual pain. I’ve made myself paranoid twice now about non existent issues (bottoming out and necrosis). I’m normally a very active person so getting some cabin fever. Thinking a mini vacay this weekend will be perfect. At least I’ll be relaxing somewhere that’s not home. Can’t wait until I’m cleared to do more stuff and for the scars heal more so I don’t second guess everything!

Tape is off! Scars are looking good. We talked scar therapy but starting with some vitamin e and coconut oil on my own since I normally heal from scars very well and they’re already thin. My next appointment is at 6 weeks where they’ll take pics! I’m clear to wear whatever. Super excited to hit 6 weeks when I can workout and paddle board again! Only soreness is at t junction and it’s minor.

Scabs are falling off and I’m delighted to see the thin lines underneath. Today was my second day on the bike. Felt good! The edges burn but coconut oil seems to be helping. The scar in the fold is a little thicker from the stretch marks but it’s only noticeable if you look under there which is great of course.

Everything is looking and feeling awesome. Can’t wait to play tennis in a couple weeks. Went to the beach and felt amazing in my suit. I feel great in everything I wear. Scars are healing amazingly with just coconut oil. Even better when my left one drops more.

Everything is looking and feeling great. I’m still dropping and fluffing and the right side has settled faster than left still. Not worried at all though. I think the scarring looks fantastic and I’m still only using coconut oil. Even the more bumpy part of a scar I had where I had stretch marks is becoming flatter as I drop and fluff. I’m really happy . I still have moments of paranoia like last week when I thought my left would never drop lol but I swear the next day it moved down!

I had been to a few consults prior to Dr Landon’s office and wasn’t very comfortable with those surgeons. Once I made it to Dr Landon’s office, I instantly felt at ease and his Patient coordinator was so friendly. She answered every question I had, as well as questions I hadn’t thought of, but to mention answering me through email at any time in the day. She even tried to get me in at an earlier date to save some money!

I waited one day, to talk things over with my fiancé, before scheduling my surgery. I cannot wait!

I highly recommend Dr. Landon and his staff! Dr. Landon was super honest which I loved because I was very concerned about needing a lift after having 2 children and breast feeding. I originally went to Dr. Landon for my 1st consultation and then went to 3 other doctors, I had 2 tell me I needed a lift and 2 told me I didn’t. The 2 that did tell me I needed a lift were quick to say that I needed it. I then went back to Dr. Landon about 8 months later and he explained to me that he can get me 10-15 years with just implants, and because my breast sit a little lower they won’t look so high once they settle, and more natural. Also, when I get in my 40s (I’m 30 now) gravity is going to take over and I will need one, so why do it now if it’s not necessary when I’ll need to do it again later? I had a picture of my breasts before kids which they were 34C-D so that helped him know what that size looks on my body and what I wanted. I’m 5’3”, 120 lbs. My left implant is 450cc and right 415 cc. I just wanted the volume back and he achieved that for me! They’re perfect!
The only con is my right breast, from the nipple down, is numb. I was told it was normal and may take a few months to a year for it to come back. So we will see about that.

I had my breast augmentation with Dr. Landon in Trinity, FL. The staff at Landon Plastic Surgery were all amazing from the day of consultation all the way up to the day of surgery. Ann at the front desk is as sweet as pie and always ask how you’re feeling. My pre and post op nurse Halli is amazing, I’m still seeing her because I’m only a week post op so I still have follow ups. But she always puts my mind at ease. Going to Landon was a referral of a good friend of mine and I am so glad this was my choice. I met Dr. Landon the day of surgery and he was amazing as well as Felicia and Patty. They made me feel comfortable and even explained how I would feel afterwards. Which was accurate lol if I may add! I would recommend Landon to anyone. And yea I’m not fully settled when it comes to the healing but i love how the ladies look and can’t wait until I’m fully comfortable when they drop. :)

So today I am a week and 3 days post op. I am starting to feel back to normal. My back isn’t hurting as much as it was the first week. I came to realize that the surgical bra and even the sports bras I was wearing were cutting into me way too much and actually causing the back pain. I have a nice spandex like bra that gives me support and isn’t straining on my back.
Man the first week was no joke I was on the percocets for about 4 days and even on the 5th day at night to sleep because of the back pain from sleeping up right. I think the toughest part of this whole process is that you can’t put your hands up over your head so it makes everything so hard being that restricted. Well at least that’s what my doctor recommended. I know all PS are different as I’ve been reading on RS.
I’m attaching my before and afters, I hope that this will help anyone that is going through the process or deciding to make this change.
I wanted a full C look without going into a D and I think Dr. Landon made that possible for me. I know it’s too soon to tell cause they haven’t finished dropping. But my profile is 330cc left (cause I was a bit bigger on that side) and 360cc on the right. Natrelle Inspira Soft Touch is the silicone brand I went with. I originally wore a 32A and I have a very small frame. I am a mom to a boy and breast fed, so losing my boobs after really gave me the push to really make this happen, 4 years later lol.
I get my steri-strips removed this Thursday and the sutures trimmed cause they dissolve on their own. I’ll update once that’s done.

Tomorrow is my actual 2 week post op date. But I went in today to have my steri-strips removed and the suture ends trimmed. I don’t go back until January 24 for my 6 week check up. Last night was a terrible night for sleep. My back hurt so much, it was mostly my left side and it’s because of the surgical bra. It cuts into me so I was told to wear it unbuttoned a bit but it constricts my back and causes it to hurt. When i take it off it feels so much better almost instantly. So my post op nurse finally gave me the green light to change my bra, as long as I find something comfortable I can wear at night as well. I am allowed to lift up to 5 lbs and a bit of bending just to still take it easy. I can also start doing scar treatment but apparently I’m sensitive to adhesive so i can’t use the strips for scar treatment. I have to go with bio oil or vitamin e. But I’m so glad to have some restrictions taken off and in 2 more weeks I can start lightly working out but nothing too excessive.

So I’m 7 weeks post op. I went last week for my 6 week check up. Everything looks great, nurse said they are very soft and scars are healing nicely and for me to continue massaging daily and using my bio-oil 2 a day. I don’t need to come back but if anything comes up to just give them a call. I’m pretty happy with how the girls look. I haven’t gone to get measured yet tbh just been a little lazy about it. I’ve been wearing kind of a spandex push up bra in small I think it may be a little small but eh I’ll get measured soon. I also am wearing a sports bra that you’ll see in these photos. It’s my most comfortable and works with everything as of now. So for anyone that’s reading and needs to catch up, I got the Natrelle Inspira Smooth Round Softtouch Implants In Moderate profile. My left is 330 cc and right is 360 cc. Prior the implants my left was bigger that’s why it has a smaller implant, so they am be as alike as possible. I’m very happy with them can’t wait til the numbness in the nipples go away and things are fully back to normal. But I’m loving the girls.
