After almost 2 years of research into Surgeons in Sydney I chose to visit 4 which I felt were what I was looking for in terms of reputation, reviews, experience etc for my surgery. Dr Merten was the third Surgeon I visited and once I met him I cancelled my consult with the fourth surgeon I was due to visit the next month. Dr Merten made me feel completely trusting and comfortable. He is very ' matter of fact' and his confidence in his ability is reassuring. He is kind, approachable, professional and an ethical person. I am now only 6 weeks post op and although recovery has been a journey it has been with Dr Merten and his team right beside me and I have never felt alone. I have already been seen several times by Dr Merten to check my progress. His staff are lovely and committed and are really part of a team, they have shown great interest at all times and nothing is a problem. I will and have already recommended Dr Merten to anyone looking for this surgery.
