Virtual consultation: abrupt and dismissive

After reading wonderful reviews of Dr. Hazany online, I booked an online consultation. The call started over an hour late, he literally spent one minute talking to me and never said anything specific about my skin. They have a three treatment routine all scar revision patients go through, so it is not tailored to your skin (not sure why I needed a consultation then). They were also not very accommodating of my traveling needs, since I would have to fly across the country to see him.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor. The encounter made me feel small and foolish for paying $350.00 to sit around at 9pm waiting for a video conference for over an hour just to encounter some bored guy who left right away.

When I told the assistant I was unhappy with the visit, he offered to refund the consultation fee, which I thought was very kind, but several months later, they have never sent a check.

Dr. Hanazy might be a skillful surgeon, but I would not recommend paying for video consultations, you will not get anything out of it.
