Day 4 Left Day 23 right post op

Hi guys, just leaving a picture update and a quick little progress update. I'm finally feeling like myself. I would say about 85 percent. No pain really, I hardly take Tylenol unless it's a night I'm going out just in case. My stomach is not as sensitive to touch, but is still sore when I press against it if that makes sense (very mild soreness) itching still persists, I continue to take Benadryl. Getting into bed and out of bed is no problem at all, no pain at all. I remember when there was a certain way I had to get into bed and could barley lift myself up to get out of bed and it was painful when I stood. My walking is much better, I exercised yesterday. I take the stairs leaving my place instead of the elevator. Everything is looking up and I'm very happy. Never thought I'd see the day lol I remember thinking I just can't wait until I get to 2 weeks and week 3 because I know things would start to get better so if your a few days out of surgery hang in there! There is light at the end of the tunnel. I'm very happy with my results and I still have a couple more months to go before I see the final result. I go back to work Monday I'm down 17 pounds. I had a couple not so good meals but I've been drinking water and a little juice here and there for almosr a month now, there's no late night eating and no alcohol! Lol the things I have to get better about is taking my vitamins, you must take them until they are gone, eating more, and continue fighting to eat healthier ( it's hard to eat healthy) and work out more. So that's all I have for right now. I'll post a one month post op pic soon and when I have my follow up appointment I'll let you guys know all the details. Have a great day!:)

Update Day 14

Well it has been a long 2 weeks but I made it lol. Just writing an update for you guys. I don't really see too much of a difference but I do feel much better. I never thought I would be able to hang out or do anything for a while but I went to two clubs and stayed out for a few hours and I've also been out running errands. Soo happy. I can bend more, getting in and out of the bed has got waaayy better. Still the mild discomfort while laying down but I think it's just lack of extra pillows and cushions but it's not horrible. My stomach is harder, feels more solid than those first couple days. I still have some numbness and some soreness but it's very mild. I continue to drink water only everyday and maybe a little juice but I went grocery shopping and got tons of fruit and vegetables and continue to watch my sodium intake. I'm down 10 pounds since the day of my procedure. Oh also, I have not experienced any lumps yet and hardly any bruising, I think it's one small area I see a little bruise and two small marks like half a centimeter that are dark and I think it's a burn. I check my skin everyday to see if there's changes. But yea don't see a big difference from day 4 or 5 but it could just be the fact that I'm still swollen which I've heard can take 6-8 weeks to go down and then the residual swelling will go down in about 3 months. I'm excited as today marks the day I can work out. A little interesting because they say start with 25 percent of your workout and I'm pretty intense in the gym. I do Zumba, indoor cycling lol but I'll probably just lift weights, focus on the arms and legs and walk on the treadmill. The nurse did say not to do any ab work like crunches because it will just mess up all the fibers that are trying to reattach itself in the stomach. Anyway I will post pics so continue to watch the space. If you have any questions drop them below and you guys have a good day :) . Today is my cleaning day and tomorrow I have outside errands to run for work assignment coming up.
