I previously had a breast lift and augmentation in...

I previously had a breast lift and augmentation in March of 2012 in Altoona, PA. 8-9 days out I had to have my left breast resutered because it opened back up. Two weeks out i had to have the left implant removed due to an infection. I waited 5 months until they could replace it. When they replaced the left implant they re-lifted my right breast. I was not sure why they only re-lifted the right one, but as anyone would guess they were very uneven with my nipples being at least an inch different in height. I also had scar tissue that puckered the entire breast up like a dried up apple. I had a horrible mess on my hands. I went for an entire year wearing a custom mold in my bra which was hot, heavy and sweaty. Another 5 months went by and i went in the third time and had the left breast lifted again as well and they used a smaller implant than before.

Every time I went in for a check up I would meet with the nurse before the doctor came into the exam room. I frequently heard comments such as....she's whining again, or you won't believe the complaint this time, and so on. Very unprofessional. I even commented to the doctor about the number of precedures and his comment was "I'm doing all my work free", you only have the operating room fee ($1100).

After this many surgeries over a year and a half of time, pain and lots of my money you would think my breasts would be the most beautiful ones in the world....wrong! I felt like I had done the most stupid thing in my life.

I finally decided to seek another surgeon to have my breasts redone, not knowing how or if anyone could make them at least look normal again. I decided to talk to Doctor Robert Louton who has offices in State College and Altoona, PA. I was so thrilled and excited when I left his office. I couldnt believe how attentive Dr. Louton was to my problems and concerns. I could not believe the difference in how I was treated, even being a patient searching for a second opinion. His staff was so kind and concerned the entire way through it all. He told me what he thought could be done, told me to see my previous doctor and ask him about the things he explained to me. This would have been the cheaper route. He said if the previous doctor wouldn't cooperate to think it over and let him know because he was willing to help me. He was not pushy, or trying to get my money, he just truly seemed to care. He even felt badly about the extreme amount of money I had already invested and offered me a bit of a discount.

I went straight home and discussed it all with my husband. He said he just wanted me to feel beautiful, the money didn't matter, and just wanted me healthy and happy again. he said there was no way he would have let the previous doctor ever touch me again and was willing to pay the entire expense to see this through if necessary. He was so glad I reached out to Doctor Louton and his staff. I was so excited and scheduled my surgery quickly within two weeks. I had the procedure done on August 9th, 2013.

Everything went as planned with beautiful results I may add. I'm so happy with the outcome. I have been more than pleased with the doctor and his staff. I just got my sutures removed on Tuesday. I can't believe how you can hardly even see the incision. He even made the scar look better from my prior surgery. I am now doing yoga massage and starting to get back into my everyday life full force. I must add that with my prior surgeon I never had exercises to help me heal either. I feel doctor Louton goes the extra mile with the entire process from your initial appointment and beyond. I return in a month for another check up.

If you are considering either a breast lift or augmentation please research in depth your choice in surgeons. I had thought I had done this, but found out I wasn't thorough enough. Living with a body that you are unhappy with because of a wrong choice is not something you would ever want to do.

Dr. Louton is an absolute wonder in my book.
