Dr Ortega did a good job on my tummy tuck but I will never return for another procedure because his staff is the WORST! Nobody is on the same page. Once they get your money, you are an afterthought. I felt like I was paying with Medicaid instead of cash. If you have a tummy tuck prepare to buy your own garmet. Supposedly one come with the procedure but it doesn't. They count the white abdominal binder as a garmet. You don't meet Dr Ortega till the day of surgery and after that u don't see him again, your follow up is with his assistant. They also don't give scripts till the day of surgery so instead of having your pain meds readily available, you have to wait till your caregiver can get them filled for you. I was basically shoved out the door after surgery. The coordinator told me my drains would come out on day 8. Dr Ortega said he leaves them in for two weeks. So now I have to fly back home with these drains and find a doctor willing to take them out because plastic surgeons don't like touching other plastic surgeons work. So much miscommunication. But they had no problem processing my payment and made sure I paid it on time. Horrible experience!
