3 months post surgery

WORTH IT$7,750
I can't believe it has been 3 months since my surgery. I went to the PS follow up and he said I cannot be healing better. My incision is fading ofd each day. I use scarguard which they sell it at the dr. Office. My tummy is flat even though I don't eat healthy. I get a little bit swollen sometimes but that is expected. He told me that I can do a normal life and that I should wear the faja on and off, depending on how I feel. I'm happy with the results and it's unbelievable how good does it feel to be sexy again, lol.

You look great, Congrats
You look fantastic! Great results!
Hi, nice to hear from you. You look amazing with a great 'hourglass' shape too. It will get even better as the swelling does settle down and the final body shape will still evolve over the next 3mths. That is something to look forward to. Well done.

One month and 6 days after surgery

Tomorrow will be 5 weeks since my surgery. I've been healing fast and my only complain is that I get swollen just for walking around the house or going to the store. I know I should rest more but I'm not the kind of person that sits all day without doing nothing. I'm suppose to return to work the 8th and I have an appointment with my OB-gyn tomorrow. I guess that I will be swollen fir a while and it will get worse once I return to work. Any advice??? I took some pictures yesterday but I was not that swollen.

You look great!!!! Healing wonderfully!!!!
Thank you NCooper :), you too
Hi, from most of the other 'girls' at your stage of recovery, it is normal and will settle down in about another month. Some people don't suffer with it at all, but most are at your stage and it appears to be a common side effect. Contact your PS for any concerns, there may be an underlying problem.
I will ask the gyn tomorrow, just in case
Good idea, better safe than sorry.

day 26 post-op

Hi! Well I had a follow up appointment yesterday with my PS and he found me in a great shape. My scar is healing really well and according to him you cannot say it has been less than a month with such results. I talked to him about the swelling and he said it's normal. I do have noticed that I'm less swollen since yesterday even though that I did a lot a things at home and didn't rest much. The PS told me that I could start applying the scar cream in my BB and incision and that I can do pretty much everything but lifting heavy weight. My next appointment is in 3 weeks. Well that is all for now.

I am having a hysterectomy and tummy tuck and breast lift. I was so worried about post op pain but it looks like you are doing well. How was things from the hysterectomy perspective?
Well, you are having the same two procedures I had plus the breast lift. Do you have kids? Any C-section? Well if yes, then the pain is similar to that one. The only thing I felt different was the muscles repair that made my stomach feel really tie during the first days. It's not a strong pain though. In my case I had a pump just above my breasts that provided me medicine until day 5 post-op. I really suggest you ask you PS for that, it was called Q-pump or something like that. I didn't feel any separate pain from the hysterectomy, just the same pain that hurts when you are going to stand up or to sit, but other than that it's manageable. Sometimes I had back pain bc I couldn't walk straight during the first few days. I don't know if you are going to have additional pain from the breast lift. But don't be afraid, even if you have pain it will go away. The most important thing is that you get great results and that you are happy with them. I wish you luck. When is your surgery?
I forgot to mention that I didn't have drains. I've read that they are very uncomfortable.
I have 3 kids but none were csections so I don't know about that. Surgery is Dec 17th. I will have 1 drain and the pain pump. So hopefully it all goes well! Thanks for responding! I will let you know how it goes!
Hi, it really is a good feeling to be progressing so well isn't it? Rest should be your priority even though you are excited to find you can do so much more, but your body needs to catch up with you. Just imagine what the emerging 'new me' will look like by Christmas!! I am so happy for you, another success story.
So happy you're healing so well and you look fantastic!
