Dr. Stephenson offered to dissolve my injections and refund me the full price. My lips are back to normal. I'm back to where I started as far as small lips but I'm SO thankful I don't have to wait it out for a year to dissolve. and appreciate that I was able to get my money back. I don't think injections are for me but I'm glad the doctor was willing to work with me to fix things. Thank you Dr. Stevenson!

You are lucky that he not only dissolved it for free but that he refunded your money too!!! My dr asked for $300 to dissolve juvederm that I paid $600 to have done. I did not pay to dissolve and an currently looking for another dr. I'm so surprised at these plastic surgeons!!! Do they not care how bad something looks or that their name will be associated with bad work?? In my opinion, they are all out to make as much money as possible and do marginal work then get offended if you complain.

Dr. Stephenson seems like a class act. Unlike a lot of doctors on this site that deny everything, he stepped up. That's what everyone should expect when you pay for service.

That is good that you feel like you are back to normal. It is unfortunate that you had to post reviews to get him to fix the damage he caused. There are very few careers in which a person can pocket $300-$600 dollars after materials for 10 minutes work. Any time you break the skin you are risking a whole host of problems. My hygienist notices that most of the women with fillers have hard balls on the insides of their faces. You are very lucky to have gotten fixed. A lot of people that post "Lip Lifts" on this site are left looking horrific, when doctors mangle their lips and noses. At least yours was reversible, and yes, you, have very good lips to begin with.

My lips are a nightmare. Besides the fact I don't see an increase in size, they're hard, uneven, and hurt. Multiple people have asked me how I busted my lip...No I just got bad lip injections. When I went for a followup, the doctor tried to charge me an additional $225 to "fix" them. He tried to tell me that this is normal, how the product is supposed to look. I did plenty of research before making the decision to get juviderm and never saw results like this. The juviderm is not spread out, it is in 3 perfectly round balls against the surface of the inside of my lip, all visible when I talk or smile. There are white knots in my upper lip that make my lip look discoloured and bumpy. They press against my teeth making it hard to even drink from a straw. Unless I want to pay the $225 to fix them, I guess my face will look like this for a year until the juviderm that I payed $450 wears out and I really hope they will go back to normal. I thought I did good research with the product and doctor before getting these, but my experience with the product and the fact that the doctor wanted to charge me $225 to fix the mistake felt like a complete scam. Huge regret.

It's none of my business but your lips were very pretty before .. it's strange Dr S would do bad work then not back it up .. I researched him throughly , had a candid pleasant phone conversation with him he seemed very interested in doing what 2 was best for me to the point he personally called me to discuss my breasts .. I ended up not using him but only because I was going to have to drive 4 hours to Atlanta and my papa cane down with stage 4 cance so it was to far to go for surgery .. I really wanted to use him though I was impressed .. I'm perplexed and terribly sorry you've had this experience. .

Yes, I was surprised because I really liked him and talked to him a lot before going through with the procedure and he answered all my questions and seemed really good/genuine. I had a really good impression with him at first. I just wish he would've backed up his work when it didn't turn out good results insteading of charging me so much to fix the mistakes. It is frusterating since it's my face and there's not much I can do without paying more time and money to fix it. My plan is just wait out a year and hope it goes back to normal.

I recently had a bad experience and had some bumps and my doctor injected hyaloridase to get rid of the juverderm. There should be no charge for that!' Period. Ridiculous!! I'm so sorry you're going through this- I had a similar situation and felt very subconscious.
