I had the pleasure of receiving a skin care consulation and treatment by Dr. Shantala. The office was welcoming and comfortable, with ample, easy parking. Dr. Shantala’s credentials are clearly displayed and very impressive. It is clear that Dr. Shantala is up to date in the latest advancements in skin care. and the doctor was incredibly friendly and enthusiastic about providing information, a tour of her facilities (immaculate!) and, ultimately care. Dr. Shantala took the time to thoroughly evaluate my skin and listen to all of my concerns and explain options. After the consultation ($250) I elected to have the 3-D Miracle treatment. Dr. Shantala provides excellent communication during the procedure. What stood out the most was Dr. Shantala's expertise and ability to explain everything in detail, from my skin's specific needs to the treatment options available. She is clearly well informed about caring for different skin types and providing a wide range of procedures. Additionally, because Dr. Shantala is a board certified MD who practiced anesthesiology for many years, she has an immense background knowledge of medical issues that are relevant to your immediate care and beyond. As a registered nurse with a PhD in biochemistry, I am a bit more critical than your average patient! I was totally confident in the treatment plan and I am very pleased with the results.
Dr. Shantala provides personalized care, not one-size-fits-all solutions. Her instructions for post treatment care of your skin, as well as her follow up on the progress of the treatment are outstanding and reflect her in depth understanding of medicine, skin and the complexity of treatment options. I highly recommend Dr. Shantala to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate, and highly skilled skin care professional.
