I wish I could give this doctor minus 1000. My experience with Dr Kim Patrick Murray is horrific. He performed a surgery for my deviated septum in January of 2021 and even though aesthetically it does look fine, I developed significant scar tissue on the inside that I complained about to the doctor but he said it was normal. My left side still feels stiff and uncomfortable to the touch. What is much worse is that within a week after the surgery I developed severe LPR (Laryngopharyngeal reflux). I never had any kind of reflux before and this one is severe and is not responding to PPIs or other medication and I have tried all of them. I had consultations with over 20 doctors from ENTs, GIs to surgeons, best of the best in the industry, and the consensus is that something happened during my nose surgery. It is still unclear what happened. Was it outfracturing of my turbinates, which I never knew about that created different airflow and weakened my diaphragm or nerve damage to esophagus during intubation but I've never been the same. I've since met other people with similar symptoms after this particular surgery. Why this is never mentioned as a side effect I will never understand. My LPR is very severe and I'm in pain every day. Because it is not responding to medication, I even had to have a highly intrusive GI surgery which was not successful either. Dr Kim Patrick Murray never followed up with me throughout this year when he realized I'm having complications. Please beware of this doctor and possible side effects if you are considering this surgery.

Hello, I was having problems with chronic throat clearing and nasal stuffiness and was sent to ENT who said my septum was deviated and MIGHT fix the cough. I underwent septoplasty with turbinaplasty. I'm not sure if my turbinate was an outfracture or reduction, I am to find out soon. My septum developed serious swelling and became infected. Iv'e been on three antibiotics, two oral and one cream. Recovery has been hell, as soon as I started the antibiotics (about a week after surgery also) I started developing breathlessness, strong chronic cough, dry throat, excess mucus, belching and regurgitation (non-acidic). It's been like this for 10 days, I finish my antibiotics tomorrow and am hoping thats what's been causing it and it will go away once I stop them.

The swelling has reduced a bit but it seems to have left a lot of thick scar tissue. My nose is even stuffier than before along with these other symptoms. I pray to god I overcome this.

Did you manage to work out your issue, have you found any relief? Did it get any better?

My quality of life remains severely compromised in the aftermath of the surgery. I have experienced debilitating health issues subsequent to the procedure, including persistent dizziness, lightheadedness, the development of scar tissue in my nasal passages, and a horrific reflux — a condition I absolutely did not suffer from prior to the surgery, despite Murray's efforts to convince me otherwise.

It is important to note that my severe reflux continued despite many months of treatment with PPIs, holistic methods, diets, etc. I had to undergo two subsequent gastro surgeries, one in the United States and the other in Switzerland under the care of a highly regarded surgeon, incurring an additional expense of $40,000.

These interventions became necessary following Dr. Murray's sinus surgery, aimed at rectifying a reflux issue (LPR) that is extremely severe. The gastro doctors suspect that the nerves in my lower esophageal sphincter may have been damaged during anesthesia intubation. This potential damage could be causing the sphincter to remain open constantly, allowing reflux to occur. otherwise it would have been fixed at least to a certain degree by the surgeries.

My overall health has been in a constant state of decline, leaving me profoundly unwell. I don't know if I will be able to see my children grow up, that's how sick I am every single day.

What further makes the situation worse, and now lends insight into the favorable reviews this doctor has "received", is his apparent practice of removing negative feedback. I have verifiable evidence of this practice, because I saved my initial review he deleted and made a screen copy of my posted review. I had to repost my review from an alternative email address to expose this doctor's questionable ethics.

In retrospect, I deeply regret not having access to authentic reviews of this doctor's practice, as I would have never elected to proceed with the surgery if I knew he deletes people's reviews. Furthermore, I have been contacted by numerous clients who have shared their own adverse experiences with this practitioner, further underscoring the importance of transparent reviews.

Perhaps most disheartening is the complete lack of support and accountability offered by this doctor. Despite the profound physical and emotional toll I have endured, I have never been presented with any form of compensation or assistance. While it is understood that no amount of financial compensation can fully restore one's health, the absence of any support from his medical team is devastating.

I have been left entirely on my own in the aftermath of my treatment, without any scheduled follow-up appointments or outreach from the doctor's office, despite them having my contact information on file.

The overall experience has been nothing short of horrific. I'm in pain and discomfort every single day post this surgery. Stay away!
