Breast Augmentation – 0 Regrets!
I think breast augmentation is one of the most popular surgeries and when one of my bestfriends underwent mammoplasty, the tendency didn’t pass me by. I got two targets: 1) determine where exactly I want to proceed the surgery and 2) what size I want to achieve. The place and surgeon were decided quickly enough and after a month of chatting via WhatsApp with the consultant from Banobagi hospital I flew to Seoul. My before op size was 70A, I didn’t want sharp changes or super huge size, I just wanted to make it more proportional to my body, a bit bigger and sexier.
Preparation wasn’t long. My surgeon was Dr. Barn Jaesang, he suggested Motiva implants and in order to get rid of asymmetry we decided to insert 340cc to the right and 300cc to the left side, the approach was under breast as scars are less noticeable later on. The whole operation took about 1 hour under general anesthesia. I didn’t feel any fear, only excitement and desire to finish everything ASAP and enjoying the result.
The most uncomfortable was sleeping only on my back, didn’t feel any pain as was given painkillers and some other antibiotics. A week later I came back home and after 10 days returned to my usual life style and work. Some other uncomfortable things were inability to take “normal” shower as it wasn’t allowed to wet seams for 2 weeks in order to escape any kind of infection and washing hair was a real trouble. Slight pain was noticeable a few weeks right after the surgery and only when upper body was in motion. For about 1.5 months I wore special underwear and the next 3-4 months only wireless bras. The first few weeks I was afraid to touch my breast as was a bit afraid to feel something alien inside and didn’t know if implants are tangible but now it looks and feels very natural. By the end of the 3rd month my breast became softer and very nice to the touch. After about 6 months there were no signs of proceeded surgery and my breast became more motile and scars became invisible.
What you should know before proceeding breast augmentation:
- Carefully search and read a lot about all possible and impossible complications
- Prepare yourself from all angles: financially, psychologically, physically
- Sleeping and lying on your belly is extremely uncomfortable the first 8-10 months
- Don’t overestimate yourself, if there is a lack of skin no need to insert the biggest size
Advantages in my opinion:
- Psychological comfort and 100% satisfaction
- Aesthetically beautiful and sexy body
- Breast looks gorgeous in any bra or dress
- Definitely increased self-confidence
