Last year December I visited South Korea for several anti-aging procedures and so far it was a success! I’m genuinely happy with how everything came out. I already posted here about my experience with MINT lifting but apart from that I also proceeded lower third of face to make the contour look more defined (which is called V-lift in the hospital where I went). Of course if I was looking for facelift only, just thread lift would be more than enough but I wanted more and facial fat was the only thing that remained between my desired result and me. So, my surgeon (dr. Barn who also proceeded all other surgeries) suggested to get Acculift as well and I have no regrets that trusted him all 100. How did I find out about dr. Barn and his hospital? Easy – internet! Do I know Korean? Nope! – yet it wasn’t a problem to communicate with my doctor at all as I was provided with an English-speaking assistant, so don’t be afraid of language barriers. I’m pretty sure you won’t experience any! From the very beginning I could feel that high-level service. We started our communications through whatsapp and I’ll be honest with you, their reply time is really slow but be patient as it definitely worth it!I didn’t consider any other places, so wanted to book everything in advance for which they asked to send a deposit. It’s quite understandable since my doctor’s schedule is always super fully booked. So, initially I thought about thread lift only (the cost for which was about $3k), the deposit I sent was 10% of the total cost. After f2f consultation with dr. Barn the total raised since I was also suggested to get V-lift with accu but I didn’t mind at all. All my surgeries were done the following day and it took me around 2 hours with no hospitalization. All procedures were minimal invasive, so the recovery was quite easy and the result was noticeable almost immediately. The after photos were taken 2.5 months after. I really love the result! I can see that defined V-line just as I wanted. I hope this helps someone who’s planning to proceed any plastic surgery. And to be honest, I would suggest you not to be afraid of going to another country. People there were super kind and hospitable.
I'm 40 and even though I’m taking a good enough care of my face, skin became quite saggy. So, a friend of mine advised to proceed threadlift and suggested me a plastic surgery where she got her breast augmentation done few months before I sked her. When I started to search about that place, most of there surgeons had good enough recommendations and to be honest I never regretted about my decision. First, I contacted them online, sent my pics and they told me approximate cost after which I planned my budget, booked everything and flew to Seoul. When I met my surgeon, he said that in my case the best solution would be MINT Thread Lift with V Lift to make my facial lines more defined as well as accusculpt. The total after I met my surgeon was a bit higher than I planned but I decided “if I came for a result, no matter how much that would cost me!” All procedures were scheduled a day after. I was lucky enough to arrange everything before coming, so I didn’t waste my time. On the day of the procedure, I had final consultation with my doctor, he drew some lines on my face and soon we started. Since, it was non-invasive procedure, no serious preparations were required. Everything was done under local anesthesia and it took around 2 hours. During the procedure it wasn’t painful at all and as I realized, it’s utterly important to find an experienced doctor and I feel super lucky! No rehab was needed and I could leave their hospital the same day. The result wasn’t noticeable immediately, as I was quite swollen. I did feel some pain but it was bearable enough, so no painkillers were actually needed. It’s been an entire week and I feel great. I do still have some tightening but was told it’d disappear in few weeks. The result is noticeable but I’m still quite swollen, so can’t say for sure that it’s finalized, perhaps need a bit more time. Updated on 13 Feb 2020: It’s been 2 months already and my results look amazing! My face looks may younger and as I was promised, my facial lines look very defined. In general, the result definitely exceeded all my expectations! All my friends gave me at least minus few years when we spent our Christmas holidays together. Everyone was impressed. My result: skin is tightened, became a little dense, even skin tone smoothed therefore I began to look even younger! The MINT (stands for Minimal Invasive Nonsurgical Threads) are PDO barbed type threads and even though, they’d never replace a surgical facelift, they are still quite effective in lifting your saggy skin. Also, as far as I understood, in order to achieve a maximum results, it’s better to proceed threadlift with some other procedures, like I did (V lift and accusculpt). I’d definitely recommend my surgeon Dr. Barn to others, as he’s is the best for this procedure!
Honestly, I don’t know what to begin with… I proceeded an operation few weeks ago. It took me years to find a plastic surgeon whom I could trust my body. I eventually ended up with dr Barn. I didn’t mind to travel even to another country for my surgery as the most important for me was to get the result I wanted. After having a child and breast feeding my boobies were never the same. They sagged and became empty and that made me very unhappy with my body. When I first met dr Barn I knew he’d be a good surgeon to perform breast augmentation on me. He was very thoughtful and professional and his assistant Regina was very nice to me too. Even now, 3 weeks after the surgery they keep in touch with me, asking how my recovery is going. I won’t lie, the first post op week was very difficult but no matter how much pain or discomfort I had to bear, I’ve never regretted about my surgery. I’m still recovering but my breasts already look amazing. Updated on 26 Feb 2020: I think I couldn’t be any happier with my results. dr Barn is the most amazing doctor I’ve ever met. So professional, skilled, smart and kind. He performed a breast augmentation on me and my body now looks even better that it was when I was younger. dr Barn restored my confidence. My breasts look beautiful and now 3 months later everything looks very natural, just as I wanted. They are perfect, especially in my own eyes which I find the most important. For those wondering, the cost for my breast augmentation was usd 15,700. I got Motiva left 360, right 380cc.
In order to look younger and get rid of saggy cheeks I had macs lift with few other anti-aging procedures done almost 2 months ago. I just turned 50 but before op looked like 70 and that upset me the most. For now, I'm still quite swollen but the result is already noticeable. I hope once my recovery is completed and all swelling goes down I’d feel more confident as it’s something I needed the most. The first week after my operation was the most difficult but by now I feel quite ok. And now after reading other people stories I understand that, my recovery goes better than the average. And now I also know that it’s still quite early to say anything about the result and that I should wait a bit more. Updated on 17 Feb 2020: People keep telling me that I look way younger. At least 20 years! So, basically, what Dr.Barn explained to me, once I proceed a surgery it wouldn’t stop my aging, it would turn me some years back (20 in my case) and aging would start again from that point. Well, if I now look like 30 (in my 50s) by 70 I’d probably look like 50 (?) Wish Dr.Barn lives 100 years, so I can come again. I feel like I’m starting a new life, totally new chapter, very confident and satisfied. I’m so happy with Dr.Barn’s work. Wonderful doctor with brilliant hands!
I’ve been looking for a place to get this surgery done for quite a while. Searched for best before and after, contacted lot of hospitals, chatted different patients and finally ended up with 2 places in Seoul. Both were pretty nice but I ended up going with the one whose staff seemed to me to be more professional and a surgeon a bit more attractive in terms of passion to his job and skills. Consultation: before I actually met my doctor, I had a conversation with his assistant. She showed me few types of implants, asked general questions and issues. Later, after few minutes of waiting, I finally met my doctor, his name was Dr. Barn Jae Sang. He also had me try on different sizes to see if I felt comfortable enough with an exact size. I was also able to see few before and after pics on his desktop to get a feeling of what my new breasts could potentially look like. After everything he gave me some time to think and I made a decision over Motiva silicone implants around 335cc-375cc depending on how Dr.Barn would feel during the surgery. Once I chose him and his hospital, I made a deposit and got a discount, which made the total cost quite lower. Pre-op: a day before my surgery, I came back for a complete body check-up. First, I filled out some questionnaire like what kind of diseases I had or have, what kind of symptoms I’m currently experiencing, what kind of medicine I’m taking or if there are any allergy reaction on anything. Then, I followed a nurse to check my lungs, make a cardiogram, she took some of my blood for tests and few before shots from different angles. Later, I was instructed not to drink or eat for at least 10 hours before the surgery. I was also warned that there should be no manicure or pedicure, so right after I left the hospital I went to salon to remove everything as had gel on my nails. Surgery: it was scheduled for noon, so the last meal I had was at around 11pm and my last drink was at around 2am (I purposely set an alarm as I was also told that wouldn’t be allowed to drink 4 more hours after the surgery). I came an hour earlier to complete all paper work. Once all documents were signed, I headed to my recovery room where I changed clothes and put everything into a locker. After I was ready I was asked to wait till the operation room is ready for me. The waiting was killing, I wanted everything to start and finish as soon as possible and 10 minutes of waiting turned into an infinity for me. The, the assistant finally brought me to the operation room. In the operation room nurses were already waiting for me. I lay down on the table, they connected me to all machines and tied my hands (which scared me a bit, but the assistant said it’s normal and everyone goes through the same, so I calmed down). The last thing I remember was the moment when the anesthesiologist entered and said that now they’ll put me into sleep. Right after the surgery: I woke up from some voices calling my name and saying “wake up!” and “open your eyes!” but opening my eyes was so difficult. When I finally opened my eyes I clearly remember how was told “everything is over, don’t worry!”. Then I was moved to a wheelchair and headed back to my recovery room. There was no need for hospitalization so I could go back to my hotel few hours later. First night: was the most difficult. I could barely sleep few hours. Continuous pressure feeling with some dull pain in my chest area. I took painkillers but they didn’t actually helped a lot and I couldn’t take more that 1 every 4 hours ugh… Next day: most of the time I spent in my bed, trying to focus my attention on Instagram, Facebook and Youtube and forget about pain and discomfort. Swelling became even worse… Day 2: I tried to go out and had a short walk to the nearest 7/11. Every step reflected with pain in my chest. Swelling was wild because of which the pressure feeling became even worse. Hopefully had almost no dull pain… Day 3: went to the hospital for dressing and follow up. Met my doctor and he said that my recovery is on track, nothing to worry about. Day 4: walking became a bit easier, still swollen but no dull pain at all and I could finally go without any painkillers. But waking up from my bed of lifting hands was very challenging. Day 5: walking became easier, swelling a little went down, pressure wasn’t that hard. Getting off the bed was still quite difficult as well lifting hands. Day 7: another follow up with Dr.Barn, swelling gradually started to fade away, pressure was still there but no more pain while walking. Wanted to touch my breasts but afraid a lot. Day 8: walk as much as I can, it really helps to get rid of swelling. So, swelling goes away more and more everyday. Still wearing compression bra (was told to wear it up to 1 month). The approach was under the breast and under the muscle, so I was told that’s why lifting hands still brought me discomfort. Day 9: strange feeling while I walk went away. I still can feel implants (feeling like they are not a part of my body). I touched my breasts and they were super solid, was told that implants need some time to settle down, so I’m waiting… Day 11 (today): I still feel that my breast is swollen and that clear feeling of implants inside me isn’t leaving me (perhaps, it’s just because I pay too many attention). This fri is gonna be 2 weeks already and once I remove all stitches I’m planning to go back home. Updated on 30 Dec 2019: On week 2, right after all stitches were removed, I flew back to States. Still swollen, with lot of discomfort caused by pressure and unnatural feeling inside my chest. Week 3: was instructed how to massage breasts little by little, so make it softer. Although, swelling is minimal, but pressure doesn’t let me comfortable enough (perhaps it’s because of the compression bra). Week 4: the last week when I’m wearing my compression bra. Will finally remove it in few days. Dr.Barn’s assistant is always in touch and keep an eye on my recovery and if I follow all doctor’s instructions. Updated on 27 Feb 2020: Week 5-6: finally took off compression bra and switched to sports and wireless bras. Although, my breasts became way softer, I was still massaging it. Swelling by that time was minimal. Month 2: the strange feeling of implants went away, not I don’t even feel them on touch. The shape looked nice a bit bigger than I expected but the assistant said it’s just because of swelling. And now, 3 months after, I feel just great! no more swelling. Breasts are quite soft and feel very natural on touch. I think by now implants finally settled and got the final shape. My most favorite part is that they repeat my every body movement. If I lay down, they move to the sides, if I’m staying, they fall down. So far, very satisfied! I do have small scars under my breasts but they are hiding within folds, so aren’t too noticeable.
I'm very nervous now about the upcoming surgery as it’s gonna be my first surgery ever. I’ve always been flat-chested and felt very insecure about it. I always feel quite self-conscious about the way I look and getting breasts augmentation is actually something that I’d want to do for myself. When I was a teen it wasn’t a big deal as I always thought that I’m just lacking of body development and just looked a bit smaller than my peers. However, as I got older being underdeveloped in the most important parts in comparison with other girls seemed more and more obvious. During my first college year I tried to get some estrogen supplementation but it didn’t work out and when my parents found out we got quite a fight. They realized that small breasts put lot of stress on me and when I started a conversation about augmentation, surprisingly but they supported me. I think my mom understands that bigger and more beautiful breasts would make me feel more like a woman and maybe would make me a bit more confident. She helped to find a good surgeon and in few days we’ll fly to Seoul. My surgery is scheduled for August 16 please, wish me a good luck! Updated on 13 Oct 2019: I had my surgery performed by Dr. Jaesang Barn. I got it as was scheduled on August 16 in the morning. For about 2 hours I was under general anesthesia and by the time I woke up my breasts were done. I didn’t feel anything but pressure. I stayed there over night and when Dr. Jaesang Han visited me the next morning I was set free to go. The first week I struggled a lot when was getting up/down the stairs or lying on my back and lifting my hands. By the second week I felt a bit better and yet I was quite limited in some body movements. On week 3 when I went through all postop treatments and removed all stitches we returned home. The first month I thought that implants were set too high but now I think they dropped a bit and look more normal. Very soon it’s gonna be already 2 months. I can’t say that I’m all 100% healed but I feel way better. My breasts are still a bit swollen but so far they look amazing I’m very satisfied. Although it was my first serious surgery experience, everything went quite smoothly and I have no complaints. I think my surgeon Dr. Barn is an amazing specialist and I’m very grateful to him for finally making me feel like a real woman.
To proceed lipo – was the last method of getting rid of fat in my list. I tried to exercise but breasts were the only thing that I lost eventually. I tried out pretty much everything, even yoga, oriental medicine, herbal treatments and different anti-cellulite creams but nothing worked for me. I was tired of saddlebags or excess fat around my thighs. I always tried to cover my legs with long skirts or in pants/jeans but nothing skinny fit as my fatty legs became obvious. I started to search for a good place to proceed my lipo and found out about Banobagi. They were offering a complimentary consultation and I also planned my trip to Seoul at that time so I saw it as a great opportunity and decided to go for it. I contacted them via whatsapp before my actual consultation, they advised regarding the price and right procedure. When I arrived in Seoul I had a consultation with Dr. Barn. We discussed what I want to be done and where while he pointed out my real problem areas. Although, the surgery itself was quite simple the consultation process was pretty time-consuming as I had to discuss all questions. Since I was under general anesthesia I started fasting about 8 hours before the surgery, couldn’t even drink water. It lasted for about little more than 1.5hr and once I woke up, everything was already over. My legs were sore and every movement was somewhat painful, so the rest of the day I just stayed in my bed. On day 2 I was so impatient to take a look at my legs so I took off the bandage. I had a lot of bruising on my legs. The total number on incisions was 8 and since any contact with water could result in an infection I also bought a special waterproof bandage in a pharmacy and wore it up to 1 week when all stitches were removed. On week 1 bruising as well as swelling was wild, every movement reflected in legs. On week 2 swelling became even worse. I’ve heard that recovery after lipo usually takes about 3 weeks, well everything is very individual and me it took a bit longer. By month 2 I felt much better and now I can finally wear skinny fit jeans or sort skirts and shorts with confidence. My legs look as I wanted and they also look a bit longer than before lol. It’s been 8 months already and the result is still amazing. Liposuction is a procedure that should be supported with continuous exercising but I think it definitely worth it!
I decided to proceed a surgery following my pregnancy that left me very dissatisfied with my body. I wanted new breasts, I wanted to look sexy again and I wanted just to be satisfied with myself. After doing a research and getting in touch with so many plastic surgeons I settled on Dr Barn, a board certified plastic surgeon in Seoul. Although, I contacted his assistant online, I could gather all the necessary information to make sure that I’m doing the right choice. On March 1 I set my first f2f appointment with Dr Barn. During our consultation he let me to try out several implants sizes in order to figure out which one would fit me the best and give the result I wanted. I trusted his recommendations and we settled on Motiva implants 300cc therefore to make my less than full 32A into a full 32C. They look very natural and feel very natural. I get lot of compliments about how no one can actually notice that I’ve anything done. Honestly, at first I was a bit skeptical if I was satisfied with the result as implants were sit somewhat high but less than 5 months they dropped and settled perfectly in the described tear drop shape. I think I can tell that the recovery was quite quick as swelling was gone in few weeks and I had almost no bruising. The incision method that he used was inframammary or under the breast, so the scar isn’t noticeable at all. The post-op pain was minimal, so I didn’t take much of painkillers. Discomfort was the most annoying part in the whole process but nothing I couldn’t handle with. Pricing for my surgery totaled in approx. $16 K USD. Overall, my experience from very beginning to the very end was amazing. I was cared very well through the whole rehab period. I had wonderful doctor who helped me to greatly boost my confidence and so far, I’ve never been so satisfied with my body.
I had been thinking about getting liposuction for some time. Got consultations with few plastic surgeons but I always got a feeling like I was being rushed into making a decision for a surgery, which honestly made me feel a bit uncomfortable. And when I met Dr. Barn for the first time, I finally felt a “safe zone”. I felt no pressure, no stress, everything went so smoothly. He and his staff put me in comfort from first minutes. He spent a considerable amount of time every time we had a consultation. On our first consultation he thoroughly went through each detail of needed procedures and very carefully listened to absolutely all my opinions. He let me actively participating in the decision making process, continuously asking if I had questions. When I left his office I could finally feel satisfaction with a surgeon. Although, their lobby, recovery room and doctor’s office gave me more a spa-like impression, once I entered the operation room everything around reminded me a hospital atmosphere. I was under general anesthesia so, by the time I woke up everything was over. It was quite interesting to be awake and see what was being done to my body. I knew results were supposed to be “immediate” and still I had to wait 3 to 6 months for my final result be completely shown. The total I paid for my surgery was around 11k usd. The healing itself didn’t take long and was almost painless. Maybe due to medicines I took right after the surgery or the tumescent fluid that effected on the treated area. I’m incredibly pleased with the procedure and very happy with the result. It 100% worth the money I spent. Now every cloth on me looks perfect. Although, the procedure gave quite quick fix, I still have to keep a diet and actively exercise to maintain the result. It’s been almost 8 months post op and I’m still enjoying my body. The best thing I’ve ever done to myself so far. Dr. Barn is very comforting, extremely experienced and professional surgeon. I could feel how he cared about my results. He was very informative and helpful during our consultation and his staff was very attentive all the time.
After gaining 20kg ish during my first pregnancy and feeding a baby for 2 years, my breast became saggy and small. So, the main reason of my surgery was to return my confidence. I feel extremely lucky, very happy and grateful to Dr Barn for bringing back the feeling of being desired as a woman. For me, he is one of the best surgeons for breast augmentation and the most trusted specialist. I wasn’t sure about the surgery but during our consultation, he made me calm down and be secured about both the result and operation. When I met Dr Barn I already knew that would go with Motiva, because I wanted my breast to look very natural and beautiful with and without bra. We decided on 350cc. The surgery was under general anesthesia and took about 2h. The first feeling when I woke up was pressure and tightening, the pain was quite bearable. I was asked to stay at the hospital for at least 1 night. Few hours later a nurse brought me some water with dinner. Nothing happened during the night, the sleep was quite deep, even though the bed was fixed in almost 90 degree position. The first 3 days after the surgery were the hardest and most painful, as the swelling peaked its maximum. Since the approach was under the breast, I had no difficulties with lifting arms and on the 2 day after the surgery could put them high enough. A week after I felt like the surgery was long ago, implants were fixed, swelling almost gone and I had no pain or discomfort. Guess, I’m one of those people who’s body recovers fast enough, lucky me! Even though, it’s been only few months post op, I feel great and my breast looks amazing! Many thanks to Dr Barn and his staff at Banobagi clinic, I’d definitely recommend them to all my friends. Best experience ever.
It differs from the size, site, and the number of days after surgery. A little amount of hematoma might be absorbed naturally, but there’s also a case of need for hematoma evacuation. It can be extracted by shots or incise the operating area, depending on degrees. I recommend you to have treatments at the hospital you got surgery.
Implants removal is possible at any time. Just there can be saggy skins, or little chance of seroma or hematoma generating at the site of implants removal.
Breast augmentation doesn’t correct saggy breast, and it cannot make breast be close together. I recommend you breast lifting surgery.
Breastfeeding is possible, but it’s necessary to remove some of gland tissue in breast reduction surgery and then the rest part of breast is combined and sutured. Please consider a lot and decide.
Botox on calves can help you in non-incisional way. Strenuous exercise as climbing would be hard after it. Calf muscle retraction using RF(radiofrequency) is also a non-incisional way to reduce the muscle of calves. You also can get liposuction in a surgical way. All three methods can decrease the volume of calves, but we cannot help with pain.
