Dr. Lille and his office staff were thorough, kind, and attentive. I felt that I had their full attention and that they took plenty of time with me. I had lost about 60 pounds in the last year, making the encapsulation of my breasts, especially the right, painful and obvious. Staff and physician explained my options, and guided me toward round silicone, submuscular implants. I did not want to end up with huge, high profile breasts. Dr. Lille pointed out that my existing implants were quite small for my frame, so did recommend slight increase to size. I agreed to additional cost of a sizer to help make the best choice about size during the surgery. The actual surgery went smoothly and although I was very tender from cleaning ruptured silicone out of the original pockets and creating new pockets under the pectoral muscles, I did not have real pain, just what I would describe as discomfort. Did not use all of the pain meds given. Now six weeks post surgery and feeling great. Satisfied with new breasts and nice to have some softness after years of hard scar tissue. Dr. Lille does not recommend future exercises that isolate the pecs...no push ups or weight lifting in my future, which is fine with me. I understand that the breasts will change as swelling resolves and they drop farther into the new pockets, so I'm being cautious. But so far, so good. Wish I had done this a few years back.
Wow, congratulations on not only your weight loss but your revision too! That's amazing your implants were 40 years old. Do you recall what size implants you got this time? Did you need a lift too by any chance? Thank you for sharing your story with us. Glad you are happy with your results!
