Day 5 post lip lift (rhinoplasty, buccal fat removal)
Well, I have to say that after the first couple of days, the most problematic thing is the itchiness beneath the nose. I can now open my mouth good enough for eating, there's no pain...But itchy..Ugh. Must distract myself. Cold damp cloth out of freezer feels good - probably shouldn't be keeping it damp, tho. I am now contemplating a bottom lip implant to balance out the upper lip. I could get fillers but I'm Lazer with upkeep...And cost would probably equal two filler sessions. I'm waiting to hear back from my surgeon or talk to him Monday (today is Wednesday). I go home next Thursday and wanted to be not looking too bad. Btw- husband is not aware I'm doing all this...Lol...I'm naughty - I came to Costa Rica for my daughter's knee.

There's some 'black' marks from lip injections...Generally I'm pleased with what I see????

Well, things are progressing nicely. Stitches look nice and swelling gradually going down (still look wierd of course). Itchy beneath my nose. I'm okay chewing most things although can't open mouth really wide...That is definitely getting easier tho.

Terrific clinic - I was here 5 years ago for multiple procedures after 100 lb weight loss. Dr. Rosestock's is realistic about what he can do and very talented. His bedside manner is lovely and his staff is sweet. I stay at Chetika Ranch Recovery Center which is the absolute best experience.
