Botox: I've been "over" Botoxed by other doctors, multiple times, resulting in a heavier brow and slight drooping of the large forehead muscles. Dr. Hagstrom tried different applications until we got it right, and my eyes and forehead are now relaxed, smooth, and symmetrical. Love love love it.
Lip Filler (Juvaderm): Amazing. Those of us of a certain age *cough, 45, cough* lose lip fullness as we get older. I expressed a desire to reverse the volume loss, and Dr. Hagstrom suggested Juvaderm. He explained what constitutes a good lip job versus bad, and his preference for a natural look. Voila! That evening I had dinner with friends and family, and received numerous compliments on my appearance, but no one asked if I had anything done. Awesome work, Dr. Hagstrom, I love my younger lips!
Vessel/Capillary Cauterization: My nose was looking like a Swedish roadmap...I'm not sure how or when they appeared, but a few months ago I noticed numerous red squiggly lines traversing the sides of my nose. I asked Dr. Hagstrom what he thought, and now the lines are gone. The procedure was relatively painless, but I won't lie, the sensations are a little weird (pin pick, electric current, heat). It's pretty fast, though, and definitely worth it. My nose looks brand new, I am completely blown away by the difference the procedure made. I was so tired of concealing the visible veins. Less makeup is always a good thing in my book! I really wish we would have taken before and after photos, and I also wish I would have done this sooner.
If you are in the Bay Area and considering any of the above, please get a consultation with Dr. Hagstrom. I just adore the man and his staff, and you will too. He's a game-changer!
