Botox: I've been "over" Botoxed by other doctors,...
Lip Filler (Juvaderm): Amazing. Those of us of a certain age *cough, 45, cough* lose lip fullness as we get older. I expressed a desire to reverse the volume loss, and Dr. Hagstrom suggested Juvaderm. He explained what constitutes a good lip job versus bad, and his preference for a natural look. Voila! That evening I had dinner with friends and family, and received numerous compliments on my appearance, but no one asked if I had anything done. Awesome work, Dr. Hagstrom, I love my younger lips!
Vessel/Capillary Cauterization: My nose was looking like a Swedish roadmap...I'm not sure how or when they appeared, but a few months ago I noticed numerous red squiggly lines traversing the sides of my nose. I asked Dr. Hagstrom what he thought, and now the lines are gone. The procedure was relatively painless, but I won't lie, the sensations are a little weird (pin pick, electric current, heat). It's pretty fast, though, and definitely worth it. My nose looks brand new, I am completely blown away by the difference the procedure made. I was so tired of concealing the visible veins. Less makeup is always a good thing in my book! I really wish we would have taken before and after photos, and I also wish I would have done this sooner.

I met Dr. Hagstrom a couple years ago via a Botox referral. Since then, I've also had lip fillers (Juvaderm) and a capillary treatment on my nose. This review, while touching on the procedures, is equally about the service, professionalism, and unparallelled expertise of Dr. Hagstrom and his staff. First, he's a GREAT guy and has the best bedside manner I've experienced with a doctor, regardless of practice or specialty. His patients are individuals and Dr. Hagstrom shines in this regard. He is thorough, honest, ethical, and well-trained/educated in a wide spectrum of procedures and products. He also gets the psychology of cosmetic enhancements. The first thing he'll do when he meets you is ask questions about you, your lifestyle, and directly, what your thoughts are about changes you want to make. He will respond with your options, pros and cons of each, and even photos of work he's done. He is realistic about the limitations of cosmetic enhancements and shares that information with his patients. Dr. Hagstrom's support in his practice is fantastic. Michael is astounding. His knowledge, assistance, and calm demeanor are awesome when you're laying there getting stuck with needles. I'm convinced he can make any situation comfortable and entertaining! These two together are a dream team, no exaggeration. And Dr. Hagstrom is very, very funny. I can't give enough accolades for this practice.
