Please DO! and GOOD LUCK!!
thanks
awesome deal .
Hi any improvment ? I think you still need 4 treatments minimum . Hope it works
went in (after they tried to cancel my appt. UGH)
doc said he saw a tiny bit of improvement but it seems like he is finally admitting that its really not working for me because he brought up other options such as lipo.
he pretty much said 4 treatments should be enough.
i really dont think this last one (4th one) is going to make a difference.
Thanx for your answer but did you try asking him why it works with some peopleand others not? If you want non surgical procesures i also think carboxytherapy works well for double chin
no, i didnt ask.
How did the 3rd round go?
still dont notice much difference.
going back friday for round FOUR!
I just had my 4th round of Kybella as well. I'm 45 years old and did not see much of a difference after my third. Good luck to you! I hope the 4th round works out beautifully for you.
thanks
ive decided it not worth it
at all
Did you ever get that 4th round?
yes. i think i actually might be on my 5th.
NO RESULTS!!!!
if anything i feel like its making my neck more jiggly.
im done!
How much did they inject at each appointment?
sometimes 4cc's, sometimes 6
Yes, Good luck to you Meinsf. I just noticed you are going on a year long journey with Kybella. I am too. If anyone has told me I'd be swollen like a bull frog and bruised repeatedly, to see a negligible difference after an entire year- I would have never done Kybella. I am too broke to have Lipo done now. I am going in for my follow up in a week of two from my 4th round. I think I'll do a 5th round only because I have FINALLY stated seeing some change.
ohhhhhhh really? you have finally started seeing results?
that gives me hope.
i have seen nothing but a jigglier neck!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oops, it's called "Newest First"
i wish i had never done it
I hear you...I'm extremely frustrated as well. I went in for a Chin Lipo consult, and then was told Kybella would be cheaper and that I'd only need 2 treatments. On a positive note, I've only had 4 vials per session and I'm finally seeing a little bit of results. If you have had 4 or 6 vials a treatment, perhaps you need more recovery time? I noticed that my greatest change was at 4 months after my last treatment. If your neck is still jiggly, don't you think you are still swollen? My neck isn't jiggly.
Oops, I've only had 2 vials per session! Not 4
i hope its just from being swollen
ORIGINAL POST

I was SO excited when i heard about kybella. ...

i was SO excited when i heard about kybella. there is a plastic surgeon in the building where i work and i asked him about a neck lift or face lift or something for my gross double chin and he told me to wait a few months because a new drug was coming out that would dissolve fat. i waited and did my research on the different doctors that would offer it. i decided not to go with that particular doctor because i found someone who had worked on the clinical trials. so i made an appointment for a consultation and after sitting in the waiting room for 2 HOURS i finally met with the doctor. he said i was a perfect candidate. i made an appt and when the time came i again waited almost 2 HOURS in the waiting room before being seen. the procedure itself stung pretty badly but i was excited for the results. its now june 2016 and this was done last year in september 2015 but from what i remember i bruised quite a bit (but i bruise easily anyway) and was pretty swollen.
no results :-(
i went back again for a second round. this time he used even more kybella.
still no results.
i went back and he said i was just still swollen. really? still swollen after a few months? i dont think so. its now been 9 months since my first injection and 8 months since the second injection and i still see absolutely no results.
very disappointed.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I hope you find support here in the community.

thanks
I m sorry about your experience and thank you for sharing it . Your doctor should give you a good discount or free for the last injection . Did you doctor used the grill ?
that was mentioned over the phone but it never happened. instead the doctor said i was just still swollen. :-(
he used the grid but also injected where he wanted.
the problem also is, it may dissolve some of the fat but now you've got a loose skin problem...
Oh, I hadn't thought about that! So now you just have "turkey neck" instead of double chin! If you starting with turkey neck, you'd think the doctor would tell you that you are NOT a candidate, but since this is a money maker for the doctor, they most likely would still tell you that you are a good candidate for the injection!
So sorry to hear about your experience, but thank you SO much for being candid! that's a LOT of $$$ to spend for nothing!
hopefully after this one i will see some results
i didnt see any results.
thanks!
