Tummy Tuck - Why Did I Wait So Long?? - Rochester, NY

WORTH IT$6,500
I lost a considerable amount of weight and suffered from endometriosis in my cesarean section scar. To treat myself before my 50th birthday this year and end the pain I have been in for many years, I finally did it! I had a breast reduction in 2004 with my doc and loved the work he did. After my friend got a TT last year with my doc, I decided to pursue one for myself. This is not an easy surgery. I have had no complications (aside from accidentally burning my stomach with a hot-water bottle 2 weeks PO - feeling is just starting to come back in that area and I don't think the skin is permanently scarred.... Idiot!). Drain was a pain for 2 weeks, but the not being able to stand straight or the pain in the lower back was the worst part. I used a cane and really walked when I could and rested when tired. Didn't push it. I flew for work 17 days PO, NY to TX and while I was tired, explained my 90 year old hobble as due to a hernia repair. I was off pain meds in 5 days. Constipation was solved by lots of liquids, co lace and stopping the pain meds. I had 2 huge babies and lots of stretch marks but they are mostly all below my incision now. Even my lady parts look like they had a "lift"!! Overall, I am very happy and while my goal was never to wear a bikini or low cut jeans, I think I may be rethinking that! My belly button is also very nice! Super small and not at all like a soup bowl like my original one. Every day gets better as I return to more normal activities and energy level. Looking forward to getting back to gym, but still fairly wiped out.
