I was diagnosed with breast cancer and opted for a bilateral mastectomy in 9/17 with tissue expanders placed and then had second surgery 2/18 to finish reconstruction Dr. Amalfi and NP Sarah were truly my angels. I had some unexpected complications and they were beyond supportive. Despite living 3 hours away, I never felt alone during my recovery. They responded quickly to my questions/concerns either by phone or messaging. I always got an appointment when I needed. Dr. Amalfi LISTENED to what I wanted in terms of post-surgical reconstruction. I got exactly the look/size I wanted. She is an artist as well as a surgeon. She coordinated her schedule so I could have the general surgeon I wanted (Dr. Skinner) and they worked great together.
