Worst Experience - Botched nose

I Had the worst experience here, and was completely botched. After a little over a year of having to wait to get my nose fixed I finally have the courage to write this review. And I’m usually not one to say anything bad about anyone, but my experience the whole way through was very unwelcoming and very uncomfortable. I should have known from the beginning that it wasn’t going to be good when my consultation was maybe only 10-15 minutes long and then they took my pictures. After my surgery, and seeing myself in the mirror I already knew I was botched. The doctor didn’t say much himself either which made it obvious he knew he messed up. I was so scared, I was in a different country and didn’t even have the words to say. I didn’t know what to do. My nose was completely deviated, I couldn’t breath out of my right side whatever so ever. It was super upturned, and all together very unnatural looking. I wanted to cry, but I was in shock. He botched me, and ruined my confidence. I was so sad and quit my job when I got back home and would not leave my home for months. I didn’t look like myself what so ever. I had lost all hope. I didn’t know what I was gonna do. I’m from the USA and surgeons here are very pricey especially when it comes to a revision case. (My case specifically). After being turned down by so many surgeons here in the states due to the severity of my case I was finally able to find an amazing Surgeon with extensive experience to take my case. When I had my revision rhinoplasty just a few weeks ago, my doctor said I was one of his top 5 serious cases and he takes cases like mine all the time. The inside of my nose was destroyed by Dr Sahli. I had pieces of my septum missing. My septum was completely deviated. I had pieces of grafts floating in my nose, he took way too much of my bridge off. Which caused my nose to start collapsing internally over the past year And took out way too much cartilage. He also cut both of my nostrils ( VERY UNEVEN) which caused me to not be able to breath, so the last year was miserable trying to sleep or anything due to my breathing. In my Revision I had 8+ mm of scar tissue that needed to be removed due to Dr Sahlis horrible work. That is an intense amount and a very risky thing to have to do. Dr Sahli also did not tell me to wear tape on my nose at all, which is needed. Especially for someone with very thick skin like mine. But I wouldn’t have known because Dr Sahli did not educate me on that or tell me that I needed to. He sent me back home and told me that after 7 days I can remove the tape he placed. But he didn’t tell me to do anything further. He doesn’t seem very educated on noses at all, and I truly believe he only cares about the money. If he didn’t think he could do my nose then he should have kindly said no. He moved forward and botched me. And I would not recommend anyone to go to this surgeon for rhinoplasty. He should not be performing this procedure with what it seems very little knowledge on it. He seems to really care about his likes on Instagram and the money but that’s all. I want to save the next person from going to this Doctor for their nose surgery. I am very lucky to have the Doctor I have now. I can finally breath again, My confidence is back and I look like myself again. And on top of that he’s a caring doctor who makes sure to text me daily to check up on how I’m healing. I am three weeks after my revision now, but I have such a long way to go for healing. 2-5 years. My nose had to be completely rebuilt. But Im already feeling so much better, I’m very thankful for my doctor now who has stood by my side through this journey; it was a very rough, and sad year for me. And I didn’t think It would get better.

Ever since I left Dr Sahlis office a year ago he has not reached out to me once. NOT ONCE. That goes to show that the money was the only important thing to him, seeing as he destroyed my nose.
So for anyone who reads my review! STAY AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR FOR RHINOPLASTY!!
