Rhinoplasty with Dr. Caniglia
ORIGINAL POST
Rhinoplasty
WORTH IT$8,000
I saw the amazing results that my girlfriend had and have always been wanting a smaller nose. I went to Caniglia for a consultation (Fee is $50 and will be applied to your procedure)
He and I spent some time together talking about the tinha I didn't like about my nose and how he would address it. He took before pictures and then did some rendering to show the end result. I was elated that he really seemed to understand everything that I was wanting. We booked the surgery for 2 weeks later. I received my pre-op instructions and immediately stopped taking any supplements as directed. I had to go for a CoVid antibody test which came back Negative :). I was ready to go!!
Yesterday June 3 was my surgery date. I arrived , changed into a robe, washed my
Face and Pee cup for pregnancy test. I went into a waiting area to get prepped up for my exam. The nurse showed me the aftercare instructions for replacing gauze and caution to stay upright and take it really easy the first week after surgery. I also received a Valium to help me relax and they put me in a massage chair as well. The anesthesiologist arrived and prepped my arm with a needle.
A few minutes later, Dr. Caniglia arrived. Yay! The time was coming!.. He re-reviewed the steps and marked my nose. I got wheeled in to the OR and then went right to sleep. When I awoke I was really groggy and in and out of consciousness.
He got me home and propped me up on the couch where I remained all afternoon and evening until it was time for bed. I must have slept almost 14-16 hours in total!
Next morning I woke up and felt pretty good. A little bit of throbbing but not too much pain. I took my meds and tried to stay sitting up at the couch or desk.
I decided the change out my gauze. Actually I took it off for a little while but blood started dropping again,so I put a fresh new gauze on.
I will be heading for my postop appt in a few hours.

Day 3 after surgery
I’m still tired and getting runny nose. I’m limiting my movement especially bending over to pick up something or doing much of anything do that matter.
