Do No Let Her Touch Your Face

Nice staff, clean office, did a great job on my breast augmentation. Do not let her touch your face! According to my consultation, there were to be slight changes to my nose - taking a little off the top ridge - she said she worked in millimeters and no one would notice the change. I woke up with a short, bulbous, crooked, upturned, nostrils exposed nose, that does not fit my face. I also could not smile, my mouth wouldn't work. When I asked her about it and she dismissively flicked her hand at me and said "That's because I cut that muscle" - the muscle that holds up my upper lip and makes it move. This was NEVER discussed in the consultation. I have consulted across the US with 7 top surgeons, a revision can be done but the damage from the cut muscle cannot be reversed or repaired. I have a very altered and awkward smile now. The emotional trauma has been immense. I do all I can to not be photographed - I have post surgery been told by several that I'm just not photogenic - little do they know this is the result of Dr. Maxwell's independent decision to cut that muscle. I do not believe she meant harm but to make permanent changes to someone's face without discussing it with them first is in my opinion unethical. You want a breast augmentation then go to her she'll do a good job. You want your face worked on then consider going to a facial plastic surgeon, not a general plastic surgeon and definitely not Dr. Maxwell.
