Obsessed with my results - I got the exact nose I wanted

I flew to Turkey from the UK to undergo a rhinoplasty with Dr Ahmet and couldn’t be happier with my decision! I reached out to his assistant Mustafa via his Instagram page & spoke with him over WhatsApp for a few months, he gave me all the information I needed and gave me the time and space I needed to decide whether I wanted to proceed with the operation, never once did I feel pressured to make my mind up quickly and was able to ask as many questions as I needed in order to decide whether I wanted to proceed. Getting things booked was super easy, Mustafa was really flexible with the dates that I gave him for my availability and all I had to take care of was booking my flights. I opted for the package that they put together which included the hotel stay for the duration of my recovery, a driver to take me to and from the airport/hospital/hotel/etc. which I would 100% recommend for anyone flying in from abroad that isn’t familiar with the Turkish language/the area, the apartment was so spacious and the staff at the hotel were very helpful at all times. The driver Murat was so friendly and prompt, it was definitely helpful not having to worry about arranging trips to and from the hospital and worrying about a language barrier - he also was able to help me get checked into the hospital on the morning of the procedure which made the whole process really easy.

The hospital the procedure took place in was very clean and spacious, I had plenty of space for myself and my guest who stayed overnight with me after the surgery. Almost every nurse in the hospital spoke English and was able to understand what I was asking for if ever I needed anything and they all were very kind and prompt, even if it was in the early hours of the morning. Dr Ahmet’s assistants Dhia & Tulay walked me through how everything would go on the day and how I was to take care of my nose post procedure, having them there to answer any questions I had definitely made things a lot less daunting and very relaxed, they were both so friendly and caring! Dhia was such a sweetheart and so easy to talk to, so glad he was there on the morning of the surgery to calm my nerves & Tulay was also so kind, she answered any and every question I had leading up to the procedure and made the whole thing seem like a walk in the park, so grateful for them both!

The consultation with the doctor on the morning of the operation involved him examining my nose properly and informing me on how to manage my expectations and what a realistic result would be for my nose - I talked to him about what I wanted and showed him some pictures and he immediately was able to reassure me that everything I was after was very realistic and possible for my nose. He was able to promise me that my breathing coming out of the surgery would definitely be improved and using the pictures he’d taken of my nose was able to explain my facial proportions and symmetry to me in a way which gave me a better understanding of how the nose would look and what suited my face the best.

Following the procedure I was in constant contact with Mustafa, who was there 24/7 to answer any worries I had no matter how small or silly my questions may have been, he was very clear in communicating everything to me both pre and post procedure and I am so grateful to have had that constant reassurance especially as I was so far away from home and was undergoing a cosmetic surgery for the first time. I reached out to him at least once every single day between having the surgery and flying back to the UK, and have since spoken to him multiple times - each and every time I’ve worried about the tiniest, silliest things he’s responded so quickly (even when it’s been 4am) and has either given me a reassuring response which calmed my nerves so much or given me clear instructions on what to do, which again was reassuring when I was worried I was doing the wrong thing. I cannot thank Mustafa enough for the amazing level of support he has provided & strongly believe that this high level of care that is provided is enough reason for anyone else who’s contemplating going abroad for surgery to go for it! If you’re worried about being away from the comfort of your home and all the way in another country, the reassurance and support that Mustafa & Dr Ahmet’s assistants provide makes up for it all, knowing the hospital is only a 4 minute drive away and that they’re on call 24/7 to help you with even the slightest concerns puts your mind at ease.

I am now 2 weeks post op and still very swollen as I have thick skin, but being patient as I know the end result will be worth it. Judging by the post op pictures and the overall shape of my nose that I can already see, everything is so perfect and I am shocked at how spot on Dr Ahmet has made my nose, it’s exactly what we discussed in my consultation and suits my face so so well. I was also shocked that I didn’t have any visible bruising post op as I thought I generally bruise quite easily, so I have to put that down Dr Ahmet’s technique. I did experience a lot of swelling but I was given an injection day 4 post op to bring this down which helped a lot and it quickly disappeared from my eye and cheek areas. The cast and splint removal was explained thoroughly and recorded for future reference, it was totally painless but I did experience some discomfort when the nose was massaged after the tapes were applied which I guess is to be expected as it’s still so sore at this point.

I am obsessed with my new nose and checking everyday to see how it continuously changes and settles, beyond excited to see how it’ll compare a few months post op vs 6 months to a year post op. Love love love the results already even with the swelling, one of the best decisions I’ve ever made and would recommend a rhinoplasty & Dr Ahmet and his team to anyone that’s contemplating undergoing the procedure! :)
