Best Surgeon in Seoul!
I knew I’m only going to do my rhino with Dr. Kim ever since our WhatsApp consult. Dr. Kim isn’t just a great surgeon, his communication skill is also impeccable. I think it’s rare to find a medical professional who doesn’t assume their patient is dumb and provide answer in a very structured manner.
I had 2 consultations in Seoul prior to meeting Dr. Kim and still has another 2 in the upcoming day. As soon as I met him, I knew there’s no point in meeting the other 2 surgeons, so I cancelled my upcoming appointments and ghosted the previous 2. He was very thorough in explaining which procedure and material is needed.
I have a very complicated case with a history of tripod and nasal fracture and it’s crazy how Dr. Kim provided better explanation of my tripod fracture than my surgeon who actually fixed my fractures. My rhino plan includes osteotomy, 3D implant (bc I have deviated septum), donated rib + ear cartilage for my tip. There’s no pain after just HEAVY discomfort, and what’s crazy is I had a full blown convo with Dr. Kim during my surgery.
I’m one month post-op now and things are great so far. My tip is still pretty up turned and too projected but I’m still very early in my healing stage so I’m sure it’s going to deswell even more. I’m so happy with my result so far, even all my family and friends think it looks very natural (despite Dr. Kim and I ranking it a 4/5 in a subtle to dramatic scale haha).
