Scheduled Surgery

Mrs. Escobar Dunn
After 22 years of hating my nose and researching different doctors I've finally booked my surgery with Dr.G. I had a virtual consultation with him on April 8, 2020 and scheduled my surgery for October 19, 2020.
I've looked at many doctors before and after pictures and never really loved their work until I came across Dr. G. I'm very excited and pray for a beautiful functional nose.

Thank you for sharing the beginning of your journey! What changes are you looking to make with a rhinoplasty?

I am looking forward to improving my breathing, straightening my nose and removing my dorsal hump.

Since your doing septoplasty did he charge more for that?
May 23, 2020
I'm no sure he included everything in the price that was given to me.

Yay I'm really excited to follow your journey. He is the top surgeon I'm considering right now. Did he charge for the virtual consult? And did he create morphs for you so that you could see what he would be able to do with your nose?

Thank you. He did not charge for the virtual consultation. The morphs will be created when I see him in person the day prior to surgery.

The goal of this forum is to document my entire journey. I'm hoping that by doing so I can help someone who may be scared or nervous like myself. Here are a few pictures of my nose now. My surgery is scheduled for October 20, 2020. Any positive feedback or advise is welcomed. Thanks!

Try not to be scared. It’s a quick recovery and in the end it’s going to change your life for the better! Before my surgery I took a lot of before pictures of myself from every angle. I found these were helpful to look at during the months after my surgery as I waited for the swelling to go down. It reassured me that having this surgery was the right decision. I’m excited for you as I know this surgery will be a life changer. You shouldn’t have to go through life hiding certain angles of your face or being self-conscious. You’re a beautiful girl but if you don’t FEEL beautiful inside, you won’t see it. Good luck to you! I know you’ll do great. Looking forward to the updates. :)

Changed Doctors

Mrs. Escobar Dunn
I have decided to change doctors. The previous surgeon I chose is talented and does amazing work but I do not feel like he is the surgeon for me. For months I had an uneasy feeling and decided to keep doing research on surgeons that specialize in Rhinoplasty and came across Dr. Reish file. I loved his before and after pics so I decided to book a consultation with him. He was amazing. So kind and knowledgeable. He made me feel like he cared and I was not just another patient. I could tell by speaking with him that he took pride in his work. That made me feel like he was the one. I will be flying out to New York in June for surgery. Wish me luck.
