I flew from NYC to LA to have a consultation with Dr. Haworth. I was considering rhino, and possibly a couple of other things. I first met with one of the girls working in his office, and after speaking with me, and before leaving to get the doctor, she turned on the TV, and started playing different videos about face lifts and facial rejuvenation. Which, I guess, I was supposed to take as a hint,- these are the procedures I also needed to have.
Then he walked in, proceeded by telling me that I have 'a very poorly shaped nose' and a 'witch's chin', suggested a number of procedures, among which were a face lift and a fat transfer under my eyes. I was in my late 20's at this point.
What they quoted me for the procedures came to roughly 80-90K.
And, when I emailed Monica, who is the coordinator there, and apparently has been working with him for many years, she hasn't replied to any of my emails.
Needless to say, I decided to give my money to other local doctors (luckily I live in NYC), and didn't have to pay even close to what Haworth had quoted, and didn't need a lift or a fat transfer (other doctors agreed to that),-all that was solved with fillers, with no surgery and at a fraction of a price, and with very good and natural results.
I found Haworth, Monica, and other girls working there, quite rude. If they treat their patients like that before they even agree to the surgery, I can't even imagine what happens after.
It's a shame I had to pay $500 for a consultation. I basically paid this money to be insulted. At least I didn't pay him for any of the surgeries.
In this profession, you can't be just a great surgeon, you also need to be nice and caring, and have a compasion. You work with real people after all. They already came to you because they want to fix or improve a certain physical aspect of themselves. At least you can do is listen and understand, not insult and make fun of them.

My bad experience was not only with Monica, but also with you. And I already did whatever procedures I wanted to have with other doctors, thanks.

I validate
I found same at dr haworth’s office: rude unprofessional and not returning email or phone calls in a timely way as tho your time is valueless
Sharp contrast to far better run offices

There are many fine surgeons and staff who are warm and professional across the. Country
In my opinion the staff and dr h are living in the past thinking they are on top of pile
They arent any longer since The Swan tv show dr h was in was a long long ago
His prices are 3 to 4 times higher than other skilled docs and seem to reflect his glory days in my opinion
His glory days are long past imo
Easy to find other highly skill docs without the hubris, condescending disorganized staff
Youre right
Spend your money where you receive professional care by all concerned from the very first contact

I completely agree with you. Dr H and his staff are living in the past and there are plenty of higly qualified and caring plastic surgeons in LA and other cities.

I have been a patient of Dr Haworth for years and this has not been my experience. His office staff were always very sweet as was Dr Haworth. I think every patient is different. I am older than you and wanted the surgeons honest opinion, and did not get offended whatsoever. I can see how a younger patient may not feel this way. I doubt his intention was to hurt your feelings or cause any distress.

Glad that you did not get the procedure with this doctor. I paid $20000 for my lip and face procedure....the result is awful
I’m sure that we can resolve your issues and make things right.
